TYPOGRAPHY ASSIGNMENT• The assignment is simple (or is it?). Take a popular bit of advice,

a saying, or a slogan, and use what you’ve learned about typography to make it look cool, interesting, and well-designed.

• Emphasize the most important letters and words. Use colors creatively, sparingly, and for emphasis. Use your fonts creatively and appropriately.

• Additional images should be fairly simple—remember that the text is the most important part of the composition. The background might possibly be just textures or a simple logo. This composition is “minimalist.”

– Slogan, saying, aphorism, or advice is creative

• TYPOGRAPHY ___ / 10– design, appearance, arrangement, alignment, style— of

font is well thought out and clean.

are used (though composition is minimalist).
