PLASTER SAND A BLEND OF VERY FINE WASHED AND GRADED SAND 1.18MM AND UNDER. DESCRIPTION: Cemix®Plaster Sand is a fine sand and ideal for use in plastering jobs. As Cemix® Plaster Sand is not a sea sand there is very little or no chloride contained. TYPICAL APPLICATION/USES: It is generally used for: • Solid plastering. • Mortar (Brick and block). • Supplied in plastic packaging and can be stored outside without wastage. • Contains aggregates at a maximum of 1.18mm which is perfect for plastering. ADVANTAGES: • Little or no chloride present. • Consistent colour and quality. • Supplied in plastic packaging and can be stored outside without wastage. • Can be used for bedding of pond liners. • Does not contain coarse aggregates (>1.18mm) MIXING: Cemix® generally recommends a 5:1 ratio with cement to produce medium concrete. SAFETY Avoid contact with eyes & do not ingest. FIRST AID If product should be ingested emergency procedures are not normally required, there may be a temporary irritant to the gastrointestinal system if excessive quantities are ingested. Seek medical attention if irritation occurs. If product enters the eyes, immediately hold the eyelids open, check for and remove any contact lenses. Flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes. Seek medical attention if irritation occurs. If product should be inhaled, remove yourself into fresh air. Drink water to clear throat and blow nose to evacuate dust. If coughing and irritation develops, seek medical attention. SPILLS AND LEAKS Keep out of sewers & storm water drains & dispose of any leftover material as trade waste in accordance with local authority guidelines.
