Yang Chao, VP Finance of Gogo, has built a track record of bui lding and leading high performance f inance organization for startup and mature businesses. She has extensive experience in financial strategy and operations, planning & analysis, as well as equity/debt financing for capital structure optimization. During her tenure in Gogo,

Ms. Chao has successfully managed FP&A team, delivering high quality company forecast, long-range business plan, and insightful financial analysis. Ms. Chao has 14 years of experience in the Hi-Tech industry, focusing on finance, strategy, and business development. Before joining Gogo, Ms. Chao worked in Motorola as a strategy and business development manager on Mobile TV solutions. Ms. Chao received her MBA from University of Chicago Booth School of Business and Bachelor degree from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics in Beijing, China. She is an active leader of the Asian American Executive Network in the Chicago Land Asian Community.

Steven A. Storch is CFO of Imagem Music US. Imagem is   the world’s #1 independent music publishing company and   owns the Rodgers and Hammerstein Organization as well   as Boosey & Hawkes, the #1 Classical Music company.   Storch is a music industry veteran, starting at CBS Records   in 1987. From 2004-2008 , he was CFO of Sony/ATV Music  Publishing, (a joint venture between Sony and the estate of Michael Jackson) which owns the Beatles catalog. At Sony   he led the acquisitions of Famous Music, the Leiber/Stoller and Bon Jovi catalogs. During his tenure, Sony/ATV doubled its global market share. Storch is a CPA

and  received an MBA from Rutgers Business School. He is a   Certified Valuation Analyst and a guest lecturer at the NYU Clive Davis School of Recorded Music.

The company was minority owned by a boutique private equity group and the sale process led to a larger private equity group acquiring the business.

Kenneth Diggs is CFO of Greenleaf Hospitality Group (GHG), a $40M, 700+ employee hospitality group with two full service hotels, seven restaurants, a 5,000+ seat stadium, five ice surfaces, a professional hockey team and several retail operations locally owned and located in the Kalamazoo, Michigan area. In 2013 GHG was recognized as one of the National 101 Best and Brightest Companies To Work For and its Radisson property was awarded Hotel of The Year by Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group. Kenneth is responsible for all Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Ticketing and A/V operations at GHG. Before coming to GHG, Kenneth was the Finance leader for North America Refr igerat ion Operat ions at Whir lpool Corporation. Kenneth previously spent seven years at Intel

Corporation first as an analyst and then a manager in a variety of roles supporting the Embedded and Communications, Semiconductor Manufacturing, and Factory Capital Equipment Development groups. Kenneth has had proven success in Financial & Investment Analysis, Turnaround & Change Management, Acquisitions & Divestitures, People Management & Development, Financial & Cost Accounting and Budgeting & Forecasting. Kenneth received his MBA at Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business and his BA from Ball State University. He is also a CPA.

Jason Macatangay joined Threadless in 2011 as Vice President of Finance. Threadless is a leading crowdsourced internet apparel retailer, whose mission is to inspire the creative minds of the world to make, support, and buy great art. At Threadless, Jason leads all finance, accounting, treasury, legal and risk management activities. Previously, Jason was CFO at In-Pipe Technology Company, a privately-held, venture-backed company which provides wastewater solutions. Before In-Pipe, Jason was Vice President at Valor Equity Partners, a Chicago-based, middle market private equity firm.

Previously, Jason held numerous roles of increasing responsibility at leading CPG companies, including Finance Director at Newell Rubbermaid, and Investor Relations Manager at Kellogg Company. Jason began his career with Deloitte. Jason is a CPA and earned his MBA from Kellogg and BBA Cum Laude from Loyola University.

Vincent Burchianti, Chief Financial Officer, Firehouse of America, LLC (FOA), protects the core financial model for Firehouse Subs, a debt free company which grossed $443 million in 2013 and opened 155 new restaurants the same year. There were 33 restaurants in the system when he joined the company 13 years ago as Corporate Controller. Since that time, FOA has grown significantly (surpassing 700 restaurants at the end of 2013) and so has Burchianti’s leadership within the brand. He served as Vice

President of Finance and Technology for four years and was promoted to Chief Financial Officer in 2011. Burchianti’s focus is on financial wellness and growth, ensuring Firehouse Subs restaurant owners maximize their return on investment; however he also supervises several key franchising divisions, Information Technology, reporting/analytics and the supply chain services department.

Fernando Martinez has over 15 years of experience leading the execution of strategic initiatives in both operational and financial roles.

At Miansai he serves a vital role in balancing rapid growth with corporate financial discipline. With a dual COO and CFO role, he executes operational initiatives while building a solid foundation for growth through policies, procedures, financial strategy, and measurement of business performance.

Previously, he was the CFO for Areas USA, a leading provider of food, beverage and retail services in the travel hospitality industry. He was responsible for the financial management of over 100 retail and restaurant locations at 12 major airports and 9 highway service plazas. He oversaw the structuring of public-private partnerships, construction, start-up, and ongoing operation for each location.

Paul Rouse is CFO of Apple and Eve LLC, one of the largest privately held beverage companies in the USA with over $250 million in sales. The company sells its products nationally to the largest clubs, grocery chains and school systems in the USA in addition to international distribution.

Paul was awarded Private Company CFO of the Year for Long Island in 2013 for his work restructuring the company and modernizing its operations. Prior to this most recent venture, Paul was Vice President of finance, corporate/

business development and Treasurer of Yellowbook Inc. During Paul’s tenure, Yellowbook grew from a small telephone directory publisher on Long Island, NY to the nation’s premier provider of small business advertising and marketing solutions.

Edward Van Saders is Chief Financial Officer for AccuWeather, the global leader in digital weather information. A seasoned entertainment and media finance professional with over 20 years of finance management experience in large and small companies, venture backed start-ups, and mergers and acquisitions, in addition to international expertise, Edward oversees all financial responsibilities and stewardship at AccuWeather, serving as a member of the organization’s executive committee to

lead and guide global growth. Prior to joining AccuWeather, Edward was CFO at TV Management, an umbrella company overseeing a group of broadcast and cable television assets including WRNN (NY broadcast channel) and FiOS1 News (Verizon). He has over two decades of experience in the media space. Edward has also served as the CFO for the digital entertainment brand Heavy.com as well as EcoMedia, an environmentally focused media firm (now a part of CBS). He began his career in media finance with Jim Henson Productions in 1993.

Karen O’Byrne joined Modernizing Medicine in 2011 and serves as Chief Financial and Operating Officer. In her dual role she oversees all financial, human resources, facilities operations, client services and sales and marketing for Modernizing Medicine. Karen brings more than twenty years of financial, operational and strategic experience from technology-based organizations including enterprise software, B2C technology, systems integration, web hosting and managed services. She is strategically minded with a proven record of driving profit improvement, leading business growth; establishing and scaling efficient operations and building operationally focused teams. Prior to Modernizing Medicine, Karen served as the Chief Financial Officer for Campus Management Corp, a software development company that provides post-secondary education institutions with administrative and academic solutions. Karen also served as Senior Director

of Business Planning and Finance for Verio, Inc., an NTT America company that provides global web hosting and managed services. Karen began her career in public accounting with nine years of advisory and attestation management experience serving both public and privately-held companies across a wide range of industries. The South Florida Business Journal, and one of South Florida’s Most Influential Business Women named Karen 2014 CFO of the year in 2013. She is a certified public accountant and a certified global management accountant, and holds an MBA and BS in Accounting, both from the University of Florida.

Josh Onishi is the Chief Financial Officer of Peace Dining Corporation and Executive Vice President of Genji Sushi, a supplier of premium all natural sushi in over 160 locations in the US and UK through premium supermarket chains. The company's driving mission is to serve food-lovers with delicious Japanese-inspired food and knowledge to lead happy, healthy lives, and to energize the world with Japanese cuisine. The company's core values surround five key elements; People, Products & Services, Partnerships, Planet, and Profit. In addition to Genji Sushi, Peace Dining owns Mai Cuisine which addresses the corporate catering and independent retail segments and GHG Logistics, the warehousing and supply-chain management arm serving both internal and external clients.

Leadership Through the CFOThrough effective budgeting and aligning company core values and goals to all parts of the organization internal and external (people and partners) the company has been able to achieve double digit growth in both sales and operating profits during his tenure. This was primarily done through setting up better communication tools and creating KPIs at each level. With the help of these new tools and stronger emphasis on core values the company as a whole was able to prioritize activities which lead to such tremendous results.
