Project Team members

I’d like to make it

transparent for my

prospective customer

how an efficient POS

implementation

project would look

like.

I need to have a solid

information base

regarding SAP POS

implementations for a

highly reliable project

proposal.

I need to have a proper insight into a

SAP POS implementation in order to

ensure that the implementation project

is fast and efficient with a high quality

result and low risk.

I like to know which

resources are required

from our side for which

tasks during the

implementation.

I like to have a sample

project schedule of an

SAP POS

implementation as

basis for my specific

project planning and

execution.

I like to build on “Best

Practice” SAP POS

implementation

expertise in order to

make our project fast

and efficient and to

deliver in high quality. With available “Best

Practice” blueprint

documents, test cases

and other important

deliverables, we could

speed up our SAP POS

implementation projects

With elaborate samples, it

would be easier to achieve a

common understanding with

the customer’s key users how

their future system and

processes would look like.

I’d like to have detailed

task descriptions and

concrete examples in

order to get up to speed

quickly in our SAP POS

implementation project

I’d like to have a

detailed project

schedule and task

overview in order to

keep track of my

activities efficiently.

Best Practice oriented Business Blueprint

Detailed sample “Best Practice” Business Blueprint

documents are ready to discuss them with the

customers directly in the Business Blueprint

workshops

After each workshop, only customer specifics need

to be adapted in the Best Practice Blueprint

documents

Strongly accelerated preparation

of the Business Blueprint

workshops and documentation of

the workshop results, as there are

only customer specifics to be

adapted in the Best Practice

The prototype shows the

customer’s key users “hands-on”

how their future system and the

key processes would look like.

This allows a very target-oriented

and quick alignment and

contributes to avoid

The Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) in the roadmap is aligned with the WBS in the sample project schedule.

POS-specific accelerators are assigned to the appropriate tasks.

These accelerators are e.g.•POS specific samples like a sample blueprint•Guidelines like test strategy•Checklists•Templates like Configuration Audit Log

The “ASAP for SAP POS” roadmap is available on the Service Marketplace (as HTML version) and will also be available in the Solution Manager.

The SAP POS Blueprint Master List is the central list of all Blueprint workshops and topics which will be covered in the sample SAP POS implementation project and contains an overview of all Business Blueprint documents.

Each numbered item links to a Business Blueprint Document which is available in the “ASAP for SAP POS” roadmap as “Best Practice” sample.

There are two versions of the Blueprint Workbook Master List: one considering integration into an SAP Backend (recommended option) and one without SAP Backend.

In the version with Backend integration, there is additional information on which processes are basically supported by SAP standard integration content and which are seen as standalone POS functionality.
