INTERNSHIPS

2014 / Firedog: Working with MD Clifford Boobyer for six weeks as a craftworker, illustrator and designer, making newsletter banners, various models, scenery and brand iconography.

2014 / Scriberia: Scribing alongside MD Dan Porter for five days on a personal scribing project.

2014 / Ideologio: Designing with MD Spyros Zevelakis for six weeks as a design assistant, producing a body of promotional work for Greek wine company, Ellinos. Also, narrating for Maaxi’s promotional video.

During my full-time employment at Progressive Digital Media, I contributedto a total of five articles to tech magazine Factor, with Mars being my first.02 / MARS

02 / GAME I illustrated many articles as well as designing the scrollable layout. ‘GAME’ was my third contribution which allowed me to introduce original illustration into to the overlay mix.

02 / PTF From the beginning, I was allocated Pharma Tech Focus. I re-designed the entire magazine from cover to cover, cmbining a purist theme with illustration and striking photography.

02 / ADS Designing and HTML coding client adverts allowed me to re-imagine existing brands in motion. By using a library of brand assets, I created flexible interactive experiences.

02 / OTF I also spearheaded Offshore Tech Focus, which involved a full re-design. This subject offered striking imagery with sharp typography, animating well with Adobe Edge.

03 / LOGO From Wawrick’s Hip Hop Society to novelty store Luckies Of London, I have undertaken a range of badge-style logos which have excelled my llustrative capabilites within branding.

04 / LO LFS ‘Head to Toe’ was a mini-brief for an interview. This captures an early synthesis of my illustrative, layout and typographical skills within an A4 printed article format.

05 / CRAFT During my time at Firedog Design, I undertook a playful project to construct a nativity scene from office-found objects. This became the cover for the 2014 client Christmas Card.
