My main goal for the near future is to gain as much knowledge and experience as possible from

my constructing architect degree and also from the other projects I am involved.

Also I expect to find a practical placement where I can implement everything I have learnt so far

while also I improve my skills and know the way in which architecture firms work.

In the long term I wish to finish my education at VIA University College and continue with a master

program.

MULTI-STOREY BUILDING

MATERIALS

Standard approved materials are used when

designing the buildings. The outer layer of the

exterior wall is made out of a clay bricks,

which makes the buildings well appearing in

the neighbourhood and gives almost free of

maintainance facade. The common access route

for each building consists of a staircase and

elevator.

We choose white plaster for wall finish of the

common access route in order to create a warm

and attractive atmosphere. When designing

the prefabricated cocnrete staircase we took in

consideration the standart staircase measure-

ments so that the construction costs would be

reduced.

Refurbishment of the old Horsens Prison CONCEPT/ IDEA STEP 1: The old building The main requirements:

The establishment of a new main entrance, including reception, ticket sale, souvenir shop, administration, tourist information, café, depots .

Administration and offices at 1. Floor. Energy optimization and sustainable solutions An elevator must be incorporated into the project with access

to all floors. The connected parking areas must be arranged with parking

areas for bus and for disabled people. STEP 2: The courtyards One of these courtyards will be used to develop the cafe. This place can be accessible by the outside (accessibility for disabled peoples) or by the reception (visitors) For the second courtyard the client have the choice and can think to cre-ate a playground, some temporary exhibitions or an outdoor cinema for the visitors.

STEP 3: The towers The main particularity of this building is the two towers overlooking the main entrance of the prison. They will be transforming with big windows to give a better luminosity in the 1st floor. STEP 4: Accessibility One elevator can be used by the disabled peoples to have access on the shop, museum or the internal bar. The cafe, the shop, the tourist information will be with free access.
