What is Bounce Back?

Started in BC in 2008 and has now

expanded into Ontario and Manitoba

More than 40,000 referrals since inception

More than 2000 referrers (physicians, nurse

practitioners or psychiatrists)

What is Bounce Back?

Bounce Back helps fill a VOID in mental

health services

Who Bounce Back Helps

Participant Eligibility Criteria Individuals aged 15+

PHQ-9 score up to 21

Not at risk to harm self or others

Is not significantly misusing alcohol or drugs

Does not have a personality disorder

Has not had manic episodes or psychosis in the past 6 months

Can engage with and concentrate on the materials

Adolescent patient has not self-harmed more than 3 times in the

last month

The data shows significant improvements in:

Depressive symptoms

Anxiety symptoms

Overall quality of life.

2. Referrer sends the referral to Bounce Back

3. Bounce Back Coach / Admin calls participant

to schedule the first phone appointment
