EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR MESSAGE
Peace Family,In the Broadway musical Rent, the cast six hundred minutes – How do you measure a year?” How do we all measure our work here at Peace add up to the end started to assemble this annual report. I sat in stillness to review 2019 and thought ! "# !and triumph experienced by members or our Peace Family.
Moments like having the largest !!in our College and Career Prep Program since its beginning. In 2019, 18 seniors graduated with 16 now enrolled in college or university studying Business Marketing, Auto Mechanics, Nursing, Communications, and other areas.
Other moments occurred to me, as well. Our Case Managers connecting with over 600 households and providing ! ! ""problem solving, planning and access to area resources. when you turn over a check that will allow @>their house and stop an eviction as tears well up in his eyes? Or just the moments when you walk around the center during youth programs and hear conversations about history or math or which is larger – an elephant or a whale? It is those < live in a community such as this and work at an organization that changes lives.
You see, I measure a year by the youth and !#< 7- "5!
