    Doubly Fed generators have windings on both

    stationary & rotator parts.

    Power generated through these type of wind turbines

    containing doubly fed generators is summation of

    real power & reactive power.

    quantity in electric power systems since

    it affects the efficiency of these systems.

    electric transformers by Ferranti effect, which

    produces bad power quality.

    Hence it is very important to control reactivepower generation and flow.

    Here we focusing on the control of reactive

    power flow in doubly fed induction generator

    (DFIG) drive units. The main goal is to achieve good response of

    reactive power at the rotor and grid side converters

    Different approaches to determine the reactive power

    controller gains based on a simplified inner current control

    transfer function were described.

    The experimental results showed the dynamics of the

    regulation of the reactive power flow is reduced.
