Telling Time1. The hour hand is between
the 7 and 8 , so the hour is 7: ___.
2. The minute hand is between 9 and 10 , so count clockwise (to the right) by 5s starting at the 12 ending at 9. That gives us 45 minutes.
3. Count on by 1s until you reach the minute hand, that give us 48 minutes. So the time is 7:48.
