Who are we?Fabien GAILLEUL, 27, Art Director based in Paris, working as senior creative at We Are Social. I’m fond of typography, font design, video games & underground cinema.

Working with several clients such as ACCORHOTELS, BNP Paribas, Renault, Google, Lipton... Former creative at Fred Farid Paris for four years, Numericable, Quick, Audi, Martini, Orangina, Société Générale, 1664, Kronenbourg...

Leo PALTI, 28, Art Director based in Paris, also working as senior creative at We Are Social.

Working with Novotel, Renault, Hello Bank, Papertweet, ACCORHOTELS, BNP Paribas We Are Tennis, Milka among others...

Born and raised with 56K modem sounds from mom & dad’s computer.

We were used to search on LYCOS and to spoke on MSN. We were caught in the rise of the digital era in the late 1990’s and two years ago we were hired by We Are Social as digital Art Directors.

What is PR now?PR has changed massively; it isn’t just about media relations and press releases like it used to be a decade ago.

PR has become more and more digital. Now it is a combination of traditionnal PR with marketing content & social media.

It is as important as the campaign itself, PR can be share exponentially and create conversations, we can now use social media blogs, reviews and content as never before.

Instead of the traditionnal PDF sent to journalists we can go a step further by engaging a viewpoint, turn PR into a blog or a site to create something which is an extension of the campaign. Filled with a sense and a message to amplify what the campaign started.

Everyone knows that social is a serious way to create real conversations with the audience.

For the last few years, social media has hugely impacted brand visibility.

PR is a new way to share content and point of view in a creative and interactive manner.

The Missing Type NHS campaign.PR campaign, brands, publications

and even street signs dropped the As, Bs and Os from their logos,

asking the public to ‘fill in the g_ps’.

This campaign for Fortitude Launch is a really good exemple of how you drive excitement and intrigue around your product by a simple idea.

The idea of using a polar bear is linked with the core of the serie, wich takes places in an arctic environement.

The polar bear was unleashed in a city, and it brought a massive PR potential. The bear was spotted at locations across London : near the Charing Cross Underground and the South Bank.

This stunt went viral, with 500+ pieces of fully credited coverage, including 8 x national newspapers in print and a sweep of key online sites and major international outlets.

With 47 million impressions on Twitter (30 Million from the UK) the show launched

PR campaign to launch a new serie.

with just over 700,000 viewers – the four-year-old channel’s biggest audience to date for a UK originated drama.

It is a really clever way to recruit audiences 48 hours before the relase of the show, to make sure to get a huge amount of people looking at the first episode.

Neat.

We’re really excited at the opportunity to represent France in the Young Lions PR Competition!

We don’t know if we can won and it would be pretentious to affirm that, but we sure love chanllenges and new opportunities to test our skills under the pressure of competition ;)
