It was possible to improve the dehu-midifying capacity of the successor tothe TTK 300 so much that, at its peak,it almost matches the TTK 600.
Its noise level – like that of its “littlebrother”, the TTK 200 – is nonethelesscompara tively low, which makes it suit-able also for use in inhabited rooms.
Due to the large wheels and the ergo -nomic adjustable handle, the transport
of both models canbe accomplishedeasily by one per-son, even over dif-ficult terrain or onstairs.

This condensing dryer has been spe-cially developed for rental applications.Based on the stationary DH 150 BXFmodel, a robust steel frame with trans-port rollers has been added.
With a dehumidifying performanceof up to 400 litres per day, the TTK1500 is suitable for drying and keep-ing rooms dry up to 2,200 m3 – withjust one appliance!
Due to the standard condensed waterpump with overflow protection and fault cir-cuitry, water can be pumped up to a de-livery height of 2.5 m into a drain or, for ex-ample, through a skylight to the outside.
You can recognise the predecessor mo -del, the TTK 600, in the TTK 800 at aglance. For a good reason: Mature tech-nology, high reliability and extremelyhigh dehumidifying capacity have madethe TTK 600 one of the most widelyused building dryers in Europe.
True to this ideal, the TTK 800 combinesall the advantages of its predecessor with a significantly higher dehumidifyingca pa city and the well-known retentionof value of the TTK professional series.

Practical tip – faster buildingdrying…
For even faster drying, building dryersshould be used in conjunction with fans:Each dryer is thereby supplemented bya fan, which significantly influences thedrying performance and thus the dry-ing time. The stronger air circulation le-ads to faster evaporation, because thefaster the air flow speed at the mate-rial surface, the faster the drying pro-cess will be.
The drying time canbe halved through thecombination of dryerand fan!
Note: Oversizing of thedehumidification performance doesnot produce shorter but longer dryingtimes and therefore causes unneces-sarily high electricity and rental costs.We have proved this with various testinstitutes and universities.
Because the high dehumidification per-formance of the TTK series dryers en-ables them to condense their own volu -me in moisture in a relatively short timedepending on the ambient conditions,our technicians were faced with threealternatives in designing and planningthe water drainage for the larger mod-els in the TTK series:
Alternative 1 –consistent but unrealistic
To do justice to the high dehumidification perform-ance, very large collec -tion vessels would havehad to be integrated,which would have dou-bled the size of the appli-ances in principle.
We considered that to bea very unprofessional so-lution because on onehand, mobility and ease of transport couldno longer be ensured and, on the other hand,even these large containers would haveto be emptied by hand from time to time.
Alternative 2 – cute but unprofessional
In order to be able to use the sales argu-ment “integrated water container” in com-petition and still keep the unit dimensionsas small as possible, the only solution inthe designers’ opinion would be to installa container which would be too small forprofessional operation (e.g. 15 litres).
This would have rightfully resultedin a “thumbs down” from the pro-fessionals, because such a con-tainer would quickly fill up and turnoff the appliance in no time via theauto matic power-off.
Alternative 3 – the Trotec solution
A lot of technology in a small space,ensuring high mobility in daily use– our designers chose this solution.
The fact is: Different areas of appli -cation each require a different solu-tion for water drainage.
Therefore our motto is: Technologyinside, water drainage outside.
According to the model and type ofapplication, various possibilities areavailable for water drainage and dry-ing control, e.g. via an external col-lection vessel with or without a pumpor permanent drying by means of anautomatic condensed water pump.
Both a condensed water pump and ahygrostat are available individually orin combination for the TTK 200, 400and 800.
Your Advantage: Every dehumidifier issupplied ex-works with the appropri-ate upgrade options. In this way, notonly new units but also used dryers can be retrofitted later if required.
We have consciously avoided standardinstallations in order to be able to offeryou the optimum value for money forevery application.

Building dryingradically reducesheating costs!
Practical tip…Shorter and shorter building times andthe increasing use of heat insulatingintegrated systems mean that the mois-ture introduced during the building pro-cess can no longer dry out totally. Damage as a result of excessive resi-dual dampness is therefore inevitable.
But even more serious is the fact thatheating costs for the user are 200 to300 percent higher in the first threeyears than for a dry building due to themoisture-related high heat conductivity.
Summary: Heating costs are two tothree times as high in the first threeyears after the building is comple-ted if the building fabric is damp!
