LED Ring Lights
LED Ring Light
Polarizers And GlarePolarizers improve contrast by reducing glare. In certain applications reflected light can detract from image quality. LED ring lights are a collection of point light sources each with their own cone of light which can create unwanted glare especially when used on metallic or reflective surfaces. A common solution to this problem is to add a Polarizer / Analyzer kit which can be used to block unwanted glare and also provide color and contrast enhancement. TechniQuip Polarizer / Analyzer kits consist of two polarizers, a fixed analyzer mounted in the central portion of the ring light and a rotat-able polarizer mounted on the bottom portion of the ring light. Rotation and positioning of the of the bottom polarizer in relation to the fixed analyzer is useful in reducing glare and hot spots, enhancing contrast and performing stress evaluations.
For increased protection TechniQuip Polarizer / Analyzers kits are constructed by plac-ing a polymer thin film between two glass plates which are housed in mounts made from aluminum alloys. Light is transmitted in the visible light range from approximately 400-700nm. These polarizers are idea for a broad range of industrial and laborarory applications. All of TechniQuips Polarizer / Analyzer kits are ESD safe.

Led Rings
Color TemperatureWhites
We offer a range of non monochromatic whites. In the simplest sense whites can favor one or more of the surrounding colors (See the CIE color chart below).
Practically speaking, individual preferences rule the day with some people favoring cool bluish white, some favoring warmer yellowish whites, and some in the center.
Lamp Code Description Corrected Color Temperature
D Daylight 5000-9000 CCT
C Cool White 4000-4900 CCT
W Warm White 2750-3400 CCT
Corrected Color Temperature
Corrected color temperature provides a single value which represents the overall color compo-sition. The chart below shows the components of color present in light of different CCT values.
Colors
Our ring lights can also be outfitted with LED’s that emit a spe-cific color. The chart below shows the chromaticity of the whites we use in our LED rings as well as our range of available colors.

Polarizers For Fiber RingsPolarizers improve contrast by reducing glare. A common solution to reduce glare is to add a Polarizer / Analyzer kit which can be used to block unwanted reflections and also provide color and contrast enhancement. TechniQuip Polarizer / Analyzer kits for fiber rings consist of two polarizers, a fixed analyzer mounted in the central portion of the ring light and a rotatable polarizer mounted on the bottom portion of the ring light. Rotation and positioning of the of the bottom polarizer in relation to the fixed analyzer is useful in reducing glare and hot spots, enhancing contrast and performing stress evaluations.
