I. Language intoduction. Teacher draws a picture of a sombrero hat on the board.Teacher :  Can you guess what is this?First teacher asks students if they know what doodle is. If students can't guess the picture a teacher may give a hint.  ✘ We are going to find out what is a Mexican who is wearing

a hat doing at the moment. ✘ What’s a Mexican doing?✘ Teacher demonstrates 8 slides one by one asking: What’s a

Mexican doing? Can you guess?Tell your students there are no wrong answers. Teacher tells the possible answers as students go along and drills pronunciation of all the structures.

II. Receptive stage:✘ I’m going to find out if you can remember the pictures.

Draw the pictures on a single piece of paper. (Teacher dictates 8 sentences in random order while students should make a picture to each one)

III. Productive stage (Writing)

✘ Teacher: Now write please the 8 sentences on a separate page or piece of paper.

(Teacher circulates and makes sure that students have written the language correctly)

IV. Productive stage (Speaking)

✘ Teacher: Work in pairs and test each other’s memory of the language.

(Students take it in turn to point to pictures and ask partners: What’s this? Partners should recall the phrases accurately)
