By plane

-Sevilla International Airport is located about 25 minutes drive from the

city center.

A bus service runs about every 30 minutes from just outside the Arrivals

hall during most of the day and cost just 2€.

-La Parra Internation Airport is located 10km from Jerez de la

Frontera, in the way to Seville.

By train

-Sevilla Santa Justa Station. This station is the southern terminus of the

Spanish high speed AVE train service.

By car

By bus

The buses run regularly to/from most major cities, departing either from

the Plaza de Armas bus station near the river, or the Prado de San

Sebastián station near the University.

Italica is an ancient roman city located in Santiponce,

at 9km from Sevilla.

Publio Cornelio Escipion founded this city in 206

a.C. It was called vicus civium romanorum.

Later on, Adriano enlarged the city by creating

a new one, which was called Colonia Aelia

Augusta.

The urban diagram is divided in rectangular

blocks. There were buildings in each of them. The

most important buildings are:

The Nepturn mosaic’s building

The house of the rodios’s yard

The birds’ house

The exedra’s building

Sevilla’s Cathedral

thirteenth century tower,

the top of which is

rumored to have once

been covered in gold. It

now houses the local

maritime museum.

the chief mosque, but now is

the magnificent bell tower

of the Cathedral and a

symbol of Seville. Climb the

34 ramps for a great view of

the city.
