Dear Brothers in Christ : We are beginning with the month of February. I would like to remind you to please pick up your member envelopes that are outside of Church, if you do not find your envelopes, you can call the parish office or go in personally. I also invite you to register as a member in the parish office it is extremely important. If for some reason you have a change of address please call the office to update your information. This Sunday we celebrate the Feast of the Presentation of Jesus in the Temple. Mary and Joseph faithful to their Jewish customs and traditions brought Jesus to be consecrated to the Lord in the temple and to offer the sacrifice required by the law; Mary and Joseph brought only two doves, but no lamb. Joseph and Mary were really, a poor family. They gave even in their poverty; the church also invites us to give our tithe according to our needs. Joseph and Mary bring their tithing and offer it to God. The Lord knows our needs or our riches and the generosity of our Heart. Let's be generous with all that God gives to us and may the Lord give us the power to be detached from whatever he has blessed us with. Estamos comenzando este mes de Febrero. Les recuerdo que por favor recojan sus sobres que están al salir de la Iglesia, si no los encuentra pueden llamar a la oficina o ir personalmente. Por si no lo han hecho, los invito a registrarse como miembros de la parroquia ya que es de suma importancia. Si por alguna razón cambias de domicilio, puedes llamar a la oficina para dar a conocer tu nuevo domicilio.
Este domingo celebramos la Fiesta de la Presentación de Jesús en el Templo. María y José fieles a sus costumbres y tradiciones judías, llevan a consagrar a Jesús al Templo y a ofrecer el sacrificio prescripto por la Ley. María y José llevaron dos tórtolas, pero no llevaron cordero. José y María eran verdaderamente una familia pobre. Cumplían con dar aun en su pobreza, así como se nos invita a dar a la Iglesia nuestro diezmo de acuerdo a nuestras necesidades. José y María ofrecen desde su pobreza a Dios el llevar el diezmo de dos tórtolas en sacrificio. El Señor sabe nuestras necesidades y la generosidad o mezquindad de nuestro Corazón. Seamos generosos con lo mucho que el Señor nos da y poder ser desprendidos de lo poco o mucho que nos a bendecido. Madre Teresa de Calcuta dice, “Hay que dar hasta que duela.”

ARE YOU READY FOR SOME BASEBALL!
The Milwaukee Brewers have again asked our Parish to provide volunteers for its spring training games at Maryvale Baseball Park. We are so fortunate to have this fundraiser that assists us financially in many of our Parish programs. Positions needed to be filled are: Ushers, ticket takers and gatekeepers. The first game is Saturday, March 1st. There are 14 games, and hours are from approximately 10:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. You do not need to attend every game. Brewers’ T-shirts, caps and lunch are free. Please fill out the form below and leave it in the basket at the back of the church so that a sign-up schedule can be mailed to you. For additional information call Barbara Collins at 623-846-3209. bautismo o registrar para tomar la clase pre-bautismal, solo se aceptarán
registraciones en la oficina de la iglesia durante horas de oficina.
Requisitos para inscribir al niño/a:
• Solo para niños/as menores de 6 años de edad. (Niños de 6 en adelante tendrán que tomar preparación de catequesis)
• Presentar comprobante del domicilio oficial (ejemplo: un bil de luz, identificación etc.) con nombre de los padres. (PADRES deben vivir dentro de los limites de la parroquia entre McDowell a Camelback, 35 Ave a 59 Ave). -O-
• Numero de Sobre de Miembro (Los Padres deben ser Miembros Registrados y Activos de la Parroquia por un mínimo de 6 meses.)
• $50 para la Inscripción • Copia del Acta de Nacimiento del Niño/a • Padres y Padrinos deben asistir a la clase Pre-bautismal el: domingo, 23 de febrero 6pm-9pm.

para aprender a orar de forma practica, paso a paso aprender a entrar en dialogo con Dios hasta la mas profunda contemplación. Los
