The Re-Branding of the NFL football team, the carolina panthers.

PANTHERS

Page 2: Presentation1[1][1][1]

Carolina Panthers

• The Panthers currently play in the NFC South division of the NFL.

• This year they did not do so good with the record of 2-14.

Page 3: Presentation1[1][1][1]

Location

• The Panthers are based out of Charlotte, North Carolina.

• The unemployment rate in NC is about 10% so that’s not a problem

Page 4: Presentation1[1][1][1]

Demographics

• In NC there is a some what low unemployment rate and it is a wealthier area than most cities in the Carolinas. The median age for NC is 35.7 which is a perfect age to base an NFL football team target market around

Stadium

• The Panthers play at The Bank of America Arena in Charlotte,NC and the stadium sits 73778.

• I would like to build a new stadium that is more appealing to the human eye to possibly attract younger people to the games.

Steve SmithSmith has been the Panthers key offensive player since his draft in 2001. He is a WR

Blaine GabbertThis is the guy the panthers need to draft to base their improved offense on.

Stackin the Team

• The reconstruction of a 2 win season team will take more than just a year, so this plan will span out over a few years. Aside from the new stadium they need to get some new players, and improve the training to excell the present players.

Cont..

• The Panthers have the first pick in the 2011 NFL draft and should draft cam newton the superstar college quarterback at auburn.

• Also try and arrange a trade for an impact player on defense, like Kevin Williams of the Vikings

Ticket Prices

• The Panthers have reclassified the Upper Level into the "Upper Box" (1st 15 rows) and the "Upper Reserved" (rows 15 and up). All Upper Box tickets went up $3 and all Upper Reserved a modest $1. Lower Level “A” sections range increased by $9 to $109, “B” sections range from $7 to $97, and “C” seats up from $5 a ticket to $83 per ticket.

Income

• The average yearly income for the area of North Carolina is $52,029.

Primary Target Market

The primary target market for the new carolina panthers will be a father and his two kids. This is a great market to have because you can attract more people that are looking to spend time with the family and want to have fun to

Page 13: Presentation1[1][1][1]

Secondary Target Market

• Teenagers ages 17-24 • The panthers can attract groups of friends that

can be high school or college to come down to the game, spend some money, and make a day out of it

New Jerseys

• New jerseys will be unvailed at the beginning of the 2011 NFL season. Changed the powder blue to a royal blue
