Marvac manufacture an extensive range of products to protect lowpressure storage tanks and vessels.These products help to prevent damageto the tank and also prevent the tanks contents from escaping, ensuring thesafety of personnel and the surrounding environment.

Marvac’s team of engineers have unrivalled experience in dealing with tankstorage applications, enabling them to assess each customers individualspecifications to provide the optimum safety solution.

Marvac products can operate within a range of -800 mbarg to 3.5 barg and-196°C to 250°C. However, Marvac’s vast technical experience often allowsthese parameters to be extended on consultation with the factory.

Pressure/Vacuum Relief Valves - A range of pressure only, vacuum onlyand combined pressure and vacuum relief valves to alleviate the problemscaused by the thermal effects and the filling and emptying of storage tanksand vessels.

Combination Flame Arresters/Relief Valves -A comprehensive range of Flame Arresters is available to work incombination with the MARVAC Pressure/Vacuum Relief Valves.

Pilot Operated Relief Valves - To provide accurate pressure relief whenoperating near to the design pressure of the tank and also to overcome theproblems of backpressure generated at the discharge of the valve due topipework, scrubbers etc.

Tank Blanketing Valves - Dedicated to provide inert or rich blanketing ofstorage tanks to reduce harmful fugitive emissions and reduce theevaporation of product.

Emergency Vent Manway and Gauge Hatch - To provide overpressure protection in the event of the tank being subjected to fireexposure and to provide access to the vessel from the top for internalinspection.

Gauge hatches to provide for product level measurement and sampling.

M a t e r i a l sMarvac products are available in a wide range ofstandard materials including stainless steel,carbon steel, aluminium and cast iron. Specialalloys can also be incorporated e.g. Hastelloy®,Monel® and Duplex. For corrosive applicationswhere stainless steel is not suitable productscan be manufactured in a range of plastics suchas polypropylene, PVDF and Halar.
