The students were also eager to place orders from the new menu and to purchase snack items during lunch and recess. Sushi rolls are particularly popular with both students and staff. The canteen is open 5 days from 8.30am-2.30pm. Principal’s Message
Dear Parents and Carers, This week our canteen reopened for the first time since last term. The canteen ladies were very excited to meet our students and staff and begin trading. The students were also eager to place orders from the new menu and to purchase snack items during lunch and recess. Sushi rolls are particularly popular with both students and staff. The canteen is open 5 days from 8.30am-2.30pm.
We have recently found out that whilst at school, students have been practising for the ‘Water Bottle Flipping Challenge’. This is an unsafe practice and has led to school property being damaged and could easily lead to injuries to students. As a result, this activity is now banned at school. Please speak to your child about following the school rules and not flipping water bottles.

Glenfield’s Got Talent
Make sure you are continuing to prepare your act for Glenfield’s Got Talent. Auditions have already taken place. This week,students are required to bring along their music on a USB or CD to show what progress has been made with their act. Students will be performing during school hours on Thursday 8th and Friday 9th December.

Save the date- Carols by Torchlight
Carols by Torchlight will be held on the evening of Tuesday 6 December on the school grounds. All students K-6 will be participating so please mark this date on your calendar and keep the night free. We will also be holding an art exhibition in the school hall prior to the carols. Each student will have an artwork on display. The P&C will be selling sausage sizzle, drinks and merchandise.
