It will be very interesting and enlightening to hear directly from someone who has actually seen and experienced that troubled part of the world we hear so much about. Recap of May Meeting Peter Johnson talked about his book Voyages of Hope: The Saga of the Bride-Ships. His address was very extensive and detailed but unfortunately it was very hard to hear. The PA system was the culprit. One unique aspect of his presentation was the excellent involvement of the audience. He provided a few of our more eloquent members with written accounts of some of the bride’s experiences, which they read aloud to us. Was a good idea and well done.
