How Amoena PurFit Works

Using the fiberfill, the Amoena PurFit enhancer is adjusted to the desired volume, and is centered over the tissue expander. The silicone shell provides a natural shape.

The enhancer completely fills the bra cup, helping the patient feel secure and confident with a symmetrical silhouette throughout the expansion process.

Patient is in the early phases of tissue expansion on her left side and is in need of volume in order to symmetrically match her natural breast so she can fill out the bra cup completely— and feel more confident.

Does her lifestyle or any physical aspects make a specific type of breast form particularly beneficial for her? Choosing the right breast form starts with a well-fitting bra. Before selecting the breast form, first measure the woman for an Amoena bra. Then select the breast form with the appropriate features according to the woman’s specific needs.

How to use the amoena contact

Cleanse your chest wall thoroughly with Amoena Skin Preparation Tonic. Afterwards, make sure the area is completely dry. The cleaner and drier your skin, the better the breast form will adhere. Please do not touch the adhesive surface of the breast form as this may affect adhesion.

1. Slide your bra strap down over your shoulder and slip your arm out. Lean forward.

2. Using the hand on your non-operated side, take hold of your bra strap and pull the bra cup away from your body.

3. Take the breast form in your other hand and, still leaning forward, place it in the cup of your bra. Make sure that the breast form sits perfectly in the cup of your bra.

Application of the Amoena Contact

4. The more tapered side of the breast form should be positioned at the top of the bra cup where it joins the strap.

5. Place your free hand on the outside of the bra cup. Slowly stand upright, pressing the breast form in the cup carefully into place on your body.

6. Pull your bra strap up over your shoulder and press the breast form once more to make sure it is firmly attached.

7. Check the fit. If the position of the breast form needs to be adjusted, simply remove the breast form and reposition.

Removal of the Amoena Contact

1. Grasp the breast form with one hand and lean forward until you feel the weight of the breast form in your hand.

2. Starting at a point furthest from your scar area, pull the breast form carefully away from your body.

3. If the adhesive surface accidentally sticks together during removal, it can be eas-ily separated by holding under running water.

4. The fingertips should be placed as close as possible to the edge of the breast form.

5. Please be careful with longer fingernails – they might damage the film.

Cleaning the Amoena Contact breast form

1. Put three drops of the Soft Cleanser on the dry adhesive surface and then moisten the special brush with lukewarm water.

2. Now scrub the adhesive surface with the special brush firmly for about three minutes in circular movements.

3. Then rinse with plenty of lukewarm water.

4. Finally allow to air-dry.

This breast form is available in two different options, according to the breast form tissue which you need to match when fitting. Styles 1S and 3E have a softer front layer and a firmer back layer, which matches the drape of a smaller breast. Extremely soft to the touch, they also offer a weight reduction of around 10% compared to standard silicone forms. In all other Natura forms the layers are reversed: the back layer is softer than the front layer, which matches the physical properties of a larger breast.

Perfect for care of the skin after breast surgery, and formulated especially for use with the adhesive surface of the Amoena Contact breast form and Amoena Balance Contact partial, the skin and form care range is now free of preservatives and dyes.

For Contact wearers, the Amoena Skin and Form Care system is designed to work together and it is recommended to use on a daily basis. Underarm: Our swimwear is cut slightly higher under the arm for extra security, without providing excessive coverage.

Bust shaping: An elastic underband and special shaping of the cups holds the breast form closely against the body, so it won’t slip down or fall forward, even in a wet swimsuit.

Sizing: To ensure the best possible fit, many of the styles in our range are available in different cup sizes. Most styles come in either a B or C cup fitting, with a smaller selection offered in A and D fittings.

Pockets: Amoena swimwear has specially designed pockets on both sides to hold your breast form or forms discreetly and securely in place. Our pockets are accessible from both the top and the side, making them easier to handle and ensuring that the prosthesis sits properly within the pocket.

Standard leg cut: Unless stated otherwise, our swimwear has a standard legline – not cut too high or too low – suitable and flattering for most figures and all ages.

Amoena scarves are designed with a “cap” to fit perfectly on the crown of the head. Each of these looks starts with the scarf sitting comfortably on a woman‘s head, sashes hanging loosely in the back. There’s no complicated folding or twisting and these variations should remain secure with little fuss.

Around Town

A Floral Touch

Cross the sashes behind your head.

Tie into the beginning of a knot. Make a bow. Position the sashes hanging down the back or over the shoulder.

Relaxed & Easy

Follow Step 1 above,then wrap one sash around the forehead, keeping the fabric flat.

Bring the long sash from the back and cross over the shorter sash to make the first knot.

Fold sash A and tuck fold under sash B and through hole C.

Pull the folded sash A through to the desired length, leaving it folded.

Tie a knot near the tem-ple and make a bow, keeping the loopseven and fairly short.

Tuck the sash A behind the knot, to make a third loop.
