Here is the radio trailer with all clips imported, but not put into place.

To import the files we went to file, the ‘Import/Ctrl +I’ then decided what clips we wanted to import.

Here is where we chose what clips to upload to Premiere Pro.

The first part of our radio trailer has been added to the sequence bar; at this point we used the razor tool to cut the clip that we have added, however to get a precise clean cut without creating any unnecessary jump cuts we zoomed in and played the clip and listened as to where to wanted to cut it and then finalised our first clip.

This is the second clip we added which was taken from one of our most informative interviews with “Shuheb” who is a personal trainer talking about what would be good for a work out and what foods are beneficial. We used a certain part of his interview because it was very relevant to the radio trailer for the way we wanted to set it out.

To create this specific clip we used the zoom tool to get a closer look at the whole clip, following this we then found where we wanted this clip to start and finish so we marked it out using the red line already displayed on the screen, and then used the razor tool to cut the clip clean. All of this helped us avoid any unnecessary jump cuts that we didn’t want.

Here as you can see we imported another part of our voiceover script for the radio trailer. Like before we zoomed into the clip to find where we wanted the clip to start and finish and used the razor tool to cut the clip clean and then fit the clip just after ‘Shuheb’s’ interview.

As you can see here this is the tool we used to zoom into clips a lot quicker than using the bar below the sequence to zoom in. this method proved sufficient and quick.

This is another clip that we imported into the sequence bar that included one more of our most important interviews, this being with the GP ‘Dr Kieran Rohan’ we felt that this was the interview that anchored our documentary the most because he is a professional General Practitioner. In addition to this we thought that this would tie in perfect with our documentary, adding clips from the documentary. Furthermore this also follows the codes and conventions of a radio trailer because the audience will remember seeing/hearing this clip and instantly relate to either one of the products knowing they are related.

Finally we have the final part of our voiceover that we cut and fit into place using the zoom tool to see any gaps as best to our ability to avoid any jump cuts, following this we made sure that it all fit in with the voiceover, making sure there were no words still included that we missed during the cutting stage with the razor tool and also listened to it the clip to ensure it all made sense.

Now thatwe have fully imported allof the clips and cut allof the voiceover into the segments that we wanted. We then saved the radiotrailer and export it into a video file.

For the exporting process we had to go to ‘File’, move the mouse down to ‘Export’ and then we hovered the arrow over where it says media and clicked it. It then cameup with a box like this, we clicked on AVI and changed it to ‘Windows Media’ after thatwe changed the name of the sequence to whatever we wanted to name it. After that it svaing it and following this process it started to export and when it did, the radio trailer was finished.
