Select the Pro Dev’t online registration link from the Staff

drop-down menu.

Click Logon

If this is your first time to the site, you will need to create

button. Follow the instructions as they appear on the

To register for a wisdomwhere class:

Once you have logged on, click Events

Type in a Keyword or select Start Date, then Search.

Click the Event Name then the Start Date.

Select the credit option (if applicable).

Scroll to the bottom and click Register.

Induction Requirements for Special Education Teachers in Specialized Programs

Special Education Teachers in

Specialized Programs (IA, IFL, MAB, DHH, 18-21 Transition)

REQUIREMENTS 2018-19 DATES AND NOTES

New Educator Training (NET) Days (4 days)

Meet with Lead / At Site (day 1)

District Welcome / ENRICH Training / Bus Tour (day 2)

Meet with Lead / Job Alike (day 3)

Human Resources / Medicaid / Re-think (day 4)

Mentor Team Support (20 hours)

Generally provided at site w/ agreement from department of Special Education

Inductees will keep a log of

meeting times If hired before January 1, 2019, teacher will receive

20 hours of mentor team support. If hired after January 1, 2019, teacher will receive 10

hours of mentor team support during the 18-19 school year and 10 hours of support during 2019-20, where ap-plicable.

A syllabus for this course will be sent to you at a later date, including the access code, login information and a timeline for completion.

In addition, must have two completed coaching cycles. Elementary Cycles occur in building via instructional coach w department of Special Education approval) (Secondary Cycles occur with district coordinator based on content specificity w department of Special Education approval)

Must have administrator (or designee) observe and pro-vide feedback on classroom management.
