Bandhnu steps
1、To stitch the required patterns of the cloth into closed interval by
tone on tone.
2、Dye it with the lightest color in the dye boiler full of boiled water
3、Seal up the part required to remain, then dye the second color
4、Dye in the proper sequence with color in the same color system
for the resist-dye effect.
5、Wash the cloth with water，then unravel the stitches
6、Dry the cloth and smooth it with a hot iron
Batik steps
1、 Paint desired patterns on the cloth with acrylic pigment and
seal the boiled wax on the images required to remain.
2 、Make some textures on the wax with fingers after the wax is dry.
3、Dye the cloth textures made by fingers in background color,
hours later take the cloth from the dye and dry it.
4、Cover the cloth with feather edge paper and extract the wax
from the cloth with a iron.

A peacock spreads its tail showing its fine and smooth feathers like the shiny and d e l i c a t e t e x t u r e o f t h e embroidery, which gives me the inspiration to express the embroidery sketch with watercolor.

Stained glass
The early stained glass as the decoration of western churches with mysterious background of stories from the bible and brilliant effect combining light ray and holy patterns were appreciated by a deal of believers. I endow life to the stained glass by transforming it into flying form with skyblue of limpidity and tranquility as the basic tone, through which believers also express their piety for the gods.

Dreaming Of Venice is the major resource of inspiration for my works recreation of the four thin fabrics.
The basic tones blend in to a ha rmon ious whole.

Apply the stacked design with strong visual weight l ike the ful l dress of elegance and heaviness for ladies in Venice throughout Middle Ages.
The more textured rabbit hair as the lining and the pearls inlaid in the gauze create noble and graceful visual effect.

Free-hand sketch
Draw the works in the light of the originality from Dreaming of Venice.
Venice is often described as a luxurious water city m a s k e d w i t h s p l e n d i d beauty.
The picture is used a variety of buttons and strings made from different materials to form a seamlessly knitted pattern.
That is adopted the embroidery technology to jaggedly stitch thick and glossy strings on a piece of semitransparent gauze. There are some pearl-like decorations stitched on the top left corner of the piece of gauze with light-reflecting sequins attached, which contributes to its shimming beauty like Venice.

The originality derives from all kinds of flowers such as chrysanthemums, petunias, and peonies and patterns from medieval Euroconstruct and Chinese traditional blueprint cloth. Put the originality into practice to create new fabric patterns of different kinds of flower shows.

Resource of design:Dunhuang rock cave art as one of our national treasure and world cultural heritage as well is the main design inspiration for my kerchief design, in which I combine the image of India Flying in the Dunhuang caves and unique texture of the kerchief.Realize the combination of tradition and modernization by composing the picture with the minority accessories and modern perfume bottle.

The resource of originality derives from the unique arts with rich nationality style such as Ukiyoe, a typical red-light district art, which sprang up in Jianghu era in Japan. I integrate the female image from Ukiyoe and Japanese raiment patterns into my carpet design.

Building deformation
Design resource: The building deformation which is derived from the deformation of architecture images during the Roman Empire breaks through previous strong texture of building with sketch relationship of black-and-white piano keys added confronting you with a beautiful and dynamic picture.
The works is started with sticky mixture made of Lithopone, white emulsoid and water, and then, a uneven roller is required to paint the sticky mixture on a piece of withe paper. The follow step is to paint on the paper with Korean ink after the sticky mixture being dry. A perfect works is completed when sanded by a sanding paper.
Building deformation
The picture is changed according to the images of stained glass windows in churches of Middle Ages.
The production methods: First of al l , coat the back of a piece of crumpled brown paper with ink, so that the texture of this piece of brown paper would be immersed by the ink, and then, paint on it with golden and silver propylene strengthening tableau sense by the sfumato techniques.

The building deformation is on the basis of the appearance of a roll film, in which there are church buildings of different height. The combination of roll films and buildings symbolizes recording of moments of eternity and beauty, in which way a great deal of historic buildings and monuments are recorded forever.
