A FAREWELL MESSAGE FROM IPA CEO & PRESIDENT For the past 12 years, YPII, a signature program of Indiana Philanthropy Alliance (IPA), has been led by CEO & President Marissa Manlove. As Marissa retires from decades of public service this month, it is with bittersweet feelings that we say goodbye. We are thankful for the leadership and guidance Marissa has provided in strengthening the philanthropic sector, not only in Indiana but across the nation. Best wishes, Marissa! Read Marissa's Farewell Message> YPII TRANSITIONS INTO IPA PROGRAMMING FOR 2019 The Youth Philanthropy Initiative of Indiana (YPII) was created in 2001 by a small group of individuals engaged in youth development. In 2003, the Indiana Grantmakers Alliance Foundation (now Indiana Philanthropy Alliance Foundation) became the YPII fiscal agent. Since 2014, Indiana Philanthropy Alliance (IPA) has directly incorporated the importance of “increasing the awareness and understanding of the value of youth philanthropy” into its strategic and operational goals. With this mission alignment, YPII will transition youth philanthropy programming into IPA’s range of programs and services. In 2019, Julie Markland will shift from YPII Program Associate to IPA Program Associate and will be the lead contact for youth philanthropy programming within IPA.
