Project Show Case
This deliverable gives an overview of the NewsReader show case: a visual presentation ofthe project. As there different types of audiences may be interested in the NewsReaderproject or in aspects of the project, the consortium decided to create a generic overviewvideo and compose a set of slide decks that detail different aspects of the project.
Show case video
The overview video was created by the company Bord&Stift1 who specialise in storytellingthrough whiteboard drawings. VUA selected this company based on their work for theDutch Platform Linked Data Nederland.2
The video presents the NewsReader project from the perspective of an end-user whohas an information need but is so overwhelmed by all available data that she needs theNewsReader system to Idenfity, Deduplicate, Aggregate and Perspectivise information inthe digital data overload. Figure 1 shows a sample image from the video.
