These one-day courses can be undertaken as a stand-alone program or as an Advanced Elective towards the Property Development Industry Diploma.
The Feasibility Workshop will help you realise the value of your land or asset. It looks at the viability of a proposed development/redevelopment and attempts to answer one main question: will the development work and should you proceed with it?
To overview the major risk management concepts developers need to understand, and an introduction to tools such as market analysis, risk measurement and effective strategies for dealing with risk in property development projects.
By the end of this course you will understand the feasibility process, have the skills to run a feasibility model and understand the importance of validating inputs and assumptions.
The objectives are to understand why some property development projects fail, explore market cycles and the importance of timing for a project, and uncover strategies for managing risk. By the end of this course, participants will be thoroughly prepared to identify, evaluate and manage the risks in a property development project.
