SL NO DESCRIPTION QTY UNIT PART A: GENERAL 1 Sheet piling Driving and installing Sheet Piles with interlocking edges with proper locking arrangements to provide earth retention ground water inflow and confining to latest IS 2314. All materials used for sheet piling should be of enough strength and quality in all means to withstand the soil and water pressure of the site. The distance between the vertical channels of sheet piling to be inserted, should not exceed 75 cm. The rate is to be of inclusive of all labour, hire charges, tools and equipments and withdrawal of Sheet Piles after completion of work. The installation and withdrawal of sheet pile should be done without any damage to the structure or any of the neighbouring structures. The withdrawal of Sheet Piles will be as per the instruction of the Engineer in Charge. The rate quoted shall be for first 90 days. 1.1 upto 4.00 m depth 20.00 Rm 1.2 upto 5.00 m depth 90.00 Rm 2 Earthwork Excavation Earthwork excavation 0 to 4 m depth in all sorts of soil depending upon the weather, cutting the roots and other materials, without causing any adverse effect to the stabilty and durability of the casted piles at the site, dumping the excavated soil in available space and conveying the excess soil to suitable place irrespective of distance from the site and shall be and confining to latest IS 3764. PART A: GENERAL

1 Sheet piling

Driving and installing Sheet Piles with interlocking edges with proper locking arrangements to provide earth retention

ground water inflow and confining to latest IS 2314. All materials used for sheet piling should be of enough strength and

quality in all means to withstand the soil and water pressure of the site. The distance between the vertical channels of

sheet piling to be inserted, should not exceed 75 cm. The rate is to be of inclusive of all labour, hire charges, tools and

2 Earthwork Excavation

without causing any adverse effect to the stabilty and durability of the casted piles at the site, dumping the excavated soil

in available space and conveying the excess soil to suitable place irrespective of distance from the site and shall be and

confining to latest IS 3764. Fertile top soil up to depth 15 cm, to be stockpiled for later use, as per Green Certification

norms and then back fill, as per the drawings and instructions of the site-in-charge and excluding charges for back filling

the sides of the foundation after construction including the charges of all materials and labour for breaking clods,

watering, ramming including dewatering, shoring, if necessary etc. complete. for the cellar floor, pile cap, Lift pit, plinth

Cement concrete 1:4:8 (1cement, 4 sand and 8 coarse aggregate) using 40mm and 20mm nominal size coarse aggregate

in the ratio 4:1 for levelling course for pile cap, machine mixed, and confining to latest IS 456, including the cost of

materials such as cement, sand, aggregate and for dewatering, curing, hire and labour charges for all formwork etc.

reinforced cement concrete for Building up Piles using graded hard granite stone aggregates of maximum 20 mm nominal

(down graded) size obtained from approved quarry including fine aggregates confining to latest IS 383 and cement all as

per approved design mix proportions confining to latest IS 10262 with minimum cement content 400 kg/m3 in M-25 grade

concrete for the mild exposure conditions as specified below for durability including manufacturing and placing concrete

cover blocks etc; which shall be followed as per latest IS 456-2000 including mixing, transporting, placing, vibrating,

compaction, finishing to required levels, curing etc. complete all as per the specifications but excluding cost of steel reinforcement.

Rate to include all materials and labour for keeping embedments if any where ever required while casting. Rate also to

include lift charges,centering,shuttering and scaffolding charges from finished floor level/ ground level as specified. All

works as per the instructions of the site-in-charge. (The design mix proportions shall clearly indicate cement: fine

aggregate: coarse aggregate, water cement ratio and approval shall be obtained from Engineer-in-charge for initial and

other water proofing methods, etc. complete all as per the specifications, including cost of materials such as cement,

sand, aggregate, and labour for keeping embedments if any where ever required while casting. Rate also to include lift

charges, shuttering, centering, dewatering and scaffolding charges from finished floor level/ ground level as specified, but

excluding the cost of steel reinforcement (The design mix proportions shall clearly indicate cement : fine aggregate :

coarse aggregate, water cement ratio and approval shall be obtained from Engineer-in-charge for initial and subsequent

mixes as and when there will be change in quarry/materials) During concreting, approved water proofing material should

be added. After concreting, proper checking of leak proofing should be done by ponding and if found any errors, the

rectification processes should be done by the contractor and complete ensurance of leak proofing procedures should be
