The difference working with us will make

Your specialist services

• Most companies’ banking services are the result of many years of banking with the same banking partner.

• Such services are rarely benchmarked against other service providers.

• Most businesses don’t have the luxury of employing staff to review their banking requirements. Responsibility for banking will often be a part of an employee’s responsibility, but not the sole responsibility.

• Business leaders are being increasingly ‘challenged’ (eg by other Board Members/Owners) with the responsibility of making sure they are getting ‘best value’ but have a lack of resource to carry out such a review.

• Our proposition will provide an independent review and allow businesses to ensure their requirements are being met appropriately.

Who we work with

Medium size businesses generally have a wide range of product needs from their banks. Equally these businesses operate in a space in which banks are extremely competitive, recognising that as the business grows there is an opportunity for them to introduce more banking services. Target companies would therefore broadly have any of the following characteristics:

• Businesses generating Turnover of c.£10m+.

• Businesses with a ‘high’ debt requirement requiring structuring assistance.

• Businesses with a wide range of banking service requirements (eg clearing, international business, overdraft , long term borrowing, HP etc).

• Businesses who may be disillusioned with their current bank.

• Businesses that fi nd that their banks cannot satisfy all their needs.

Having worked with David Moseley for many years I have always found him thoughtful, knowledgeable and insightful.

More recently, during the negotiations for our £135m bank facility across a syndicate of four banks, I asked David to take the role of lead bank coordinator (no easy task).

David performed this role superbly on behalf of all parties. His thoroughly professional and solutions based approach meant he was able to collect all the banks together and provide advice to all sides facilitating an effi cient path to closure. From a personal perspective I always fi nd it easier to work with people that I like, trust and respect. I fi nd David extremely easy to work with. Chris Naisby, Finance Director

Clarks have worked with David for many years and value the support and guidance that he has given during that time. His approach is always professional, commercial and focused on what is right for the business. Denise Tomblin, Group Tax & Treasury Director

David was my key contact at Senior plc’s main banker for over 10 years. I experienced David as a competent and reliable counterpart, with whom I could always discuss in an open manner trivial, sensitive, confi dential, and complicated issues and always received appropriate, valuable, to-the-point advice. Over the years I developed a close commercial relationship with David and he became my fi rst and most reliable contact in all lending related matters. It will be diffi cult to develop a comparable relationship once he is leaving the banking world.

I have worked with David on a number of banking transactions and he has always been personable, knowledgeable, professional and most of all keen to add value.

Barbara Richmond, Finance Director

Having worked with David for over three years, I have found him to be very knowledgeable, commercial and practical in all his advice. David is also professional and reliable and has a very pleasant nature, which makes him very easy to work with.

Darryl Th omas, Group Financial Controller

David worked with Fenner PLC for over a decade providing input and advice on debt capital markets including bank debt and private placements. David has always provided frank and honest advice. His commitment to Fenner has been highly valued; he has always worked to the highest standards of integrity. We have particularly valued his objective input notwithstanding his role at a specifi c bank, his ability to understand the commercial background to our fi nancing needs, and his vast experience of banking markets. I recommend David as a trusted advisor.

Andrew Caley, Group Treasurer

Lloyds have been our bank for many years and David was one of the key members of their team since I became FD here 15 years ago. Our company has a small Group Finance function who deal with all UK banking matters and operate the Group’s loan facilities. We have no particular banking expertise but have relied on the team from Lloyds for help where needed. David and I have worked together on a number of re-fi nancings and discussed treasury in general and market conditions (plus football, golf and brass bands) on numerous occasions. He made sure to understand our needs and his advice was always sound and up with the market. If he didn’t know something he would say and would then fi nd the answer. He is an excellent relationship banker who has always been totally honest and up-front. David gives banking a good name.
