FUNCEME participates in a scientific program of cloud physics and aerosols observations using the facilities of the State University of Ceará (UECE) that includes an instrumented aircraft

This aircraft participated in different field campaigns over Northeast Brazil (“Ceará Experiment”) and the Amazon (LBA-SMOCC-EMfiN!)

With that instrumented aircraft, FUNCEME could contribute significantly to better understand the physical processes concerning cloud and precipitation development over distinct places in South America

• A Complete Agro-Hydro-Meteorological Data Set (Ceará, Nordeste)

• Extension of the Knowledge in the Climat-DengueRelationship (with different climatic conditions)

• Competence and Cooperation in Downscalling Processes (RSM, RAMS, …)

• Experience in Climate-Agriculture Relationship (in association with other partners: IRI, …)

• Technical and Scientific Contribution in the Cloud-Aerosol-Radiation Studies (different regions, different conditions)
