Space Micro has earned a strong reputation in the Space industry for innovative,
affordable and high performance RF communication and digital computer products. We
are an engineering driven small business focused on technology advancement and
product implementation.
Space Micro’s Digital heritage began in 2006 with the launch of our initial Single Board
Computer and has expanded to include radiation hardened configurations of our
ProtonX-Box featuring our high performance Single Board Computers (either
Proton200K or Proton400K) packaged with various other peripheral slices, and our
flight-proven Image Processing Computers. The ProtonX-Box is well-suited for a
variety of applications including command and data handling, payload control
electronics, and Sensor/Data Processing. The IPC (Image Processing Computer) is
under contract for 2 production programs and has recently been selected for a long-
term science mission. Parts program range from commercial space up to full NASA
level 1/Military Class S.
The Proton400K TM computing platform is a high performance, low power radiation
hardened processing solution that meets the challenge of the space environments.
This product utilizes the Freescale advanced 45 nm dual-core microprocessor and
combined with Space Micro's patent pending radiation mitigation technologies provides
an industry leading blend of performance, power and price.
