Users Questions/CommentsOn 3/31/2010 I paid International Paradigm Marketing LLC $500.00 to rent/sell my annual and bi-annual timeshares. They had a moneyback guarantee for a one year timeframe. I was told my timeshare was sold and I had to provide un front closing costs. I sent International Paradigm Marketing LLC a certified check for $1998.00 on 7/14/2010 to cover the closing costs of the sale of my timeshare. As of 8/25/2010 International Paradigm Marketing LLC has been unreachable. Phones are disconnected. I believe I have been scammed.

Users Questions/CommentsWe were scammed out of $6394 plus courier charges of $13.65 for a total of $6407.85, by Kevin J Chabot of International Paradigm Marketing, LLC, 855 East Plant St, Unit 500, Winter Garden, FL 34787.March 2010 - Received a call from Bruce of International Paradigm Marketing, LLC. He said he noticed that we had RCI points with Orange Lake and Occidental Allegro that he could sell for us. March 11, 2010 – Signed contracts to sell each property with International Paradigm Marketing, LLC and send a listing fee of $699 for each property = $1398June 28, 2010 – Received a call from a Christopher Anderson of International Paradigm Marketing, LLC. (407-656-1149). He told us the properties had sold. Orange Lake sold for $56,070 and Occidental had sold for $67,800 for a total of $123,870. He said it would take 7-10 days for the closing documents to be prepared with 30-45 days as a firm closing. He needed us to send closing fees of $2498 x 2 = $4996 with the memo “CLJ38PRUS” put at the bottom of the check. He asked us to send the money via priority mail and said they would refund the mail charges. June 29, 2010 – We sent a bank draft for $4996 to International Paradigm Marketing, LLC, 855 East Plant St, Unit 500, Winter Garden, FL 34787. Priority Mail charges were $13.65.July 2010 - When we had not heard anything by mid July we started calling them. We have called several times and left numerous messages. August 19, 2010 – We sent a letter to International Paradigm Marketing, LLC asking them where our money was. August 25, 2010 – We received a call from a Justin Cross (407-309-0470) who claimed he was in the Legal Department of International Paradigm Marketing, LLC. He assured us that he would make sure we got our money.September 1, 2010 – We discovered the phone line (407-656-1149) for Christopher Anderson was disconnected. We also discovered that the main number 877-874-4613 was disconnected. We called Nick Skargee (386-788-7264), the Registered Agent/Accountant for International Paradigm Marketing, LLC. His receptionist said they have not been able to reach Kevin J Chabot of International Paradigm Marketing, LLC either. When we call 407-309-0470 there is a voice mail box that always seems to be full.September 2, 2010 – We have contacted Orange Lake and Occidental Allegro to see if our properties had been sold from under us. They both assured us they had not been sold.

They guaranteed to market and advertise our property until it is rented or sold in a 12-month timeframe or received a 100% refund on the initial advertising fee of $574 charged to our VISA card on March 2, 2010. On June 27, 2010 we received a call from IPM stating they had found a buyer for our time share and required $1980 for our share of the escrow fees. We authorized another payment of $1980 on 6/29/2010 using our same VISA card, which was processed. One week later we received a call from IPM stating they needed secured funds (cashiers check or money order) rather than the charge they had processed on our VISA card. We asked the $1980 charge be reversed before we would consider sending secured funds. IPM informed us they were unable to reverse the charges due to the 3rd party escrow account involved, even though the VISA charge was clearly made to IPM. Our VISA bank was contact, Bank of America (B of A), and I requested they reverse the above charge. They stated they would be unable to that at this time. Long story short, B of A would not reverse the charges nor could I file a billing dispute until I made an additional payment to IPM with secured funds, which I did per B of A‘s request. Ever since that was done on 8/16/2010, I have been unable to reach anyone at IPM. Currently their phone number has been unavailable.

Users Questions/CommentsWe were cotacted by a Richard Powers, saying that he found a renter for our timeshare. The person, Cecil Higgs rented it 4 times $2500. We were to receive $10,000 for this rental. we were told that ther is a one time fee, and because we rented it four times, it would equal $2,498, plus $420 for finder's fees. We checked with the Better Business Bureau and saw that they were listed, with a pretty good rating. At the time there was no negative comments on them. Their number that was listed, was the same number that we called back on, so we figured it was a legitimate business. They said that we would probably get our money in a couple of weeks, at first. When we called back after not receining it, they said that we were given wrong information, and that it would take about 2-3 month at the very latest. We proceeded to call late July and they said that it looked like we would get paid by the end of the week, and that "things" were looking good. We couldn't get through to the original phone number after a hile, but then we got a call from a David Field (407-309-0498). He seemed to be taking over the case. He even said thatthe reason we didn't get our money sooner was that their was a mx-up, and that our property was worth even more. Consequently, we would be getting more money than expected. They have never returned a phone call. We always have to call them. After checking on-line with Paradigm Marketing, we saw where citizens were complaining about their dealings with these same people. Since then I taklked to David Field as late as August 29th. He was telling me my situation, and then hung up mid-sentence. He has not answered his phone since. I vve left messages each time. I would appreciate any help in getting our money back. The money I used was borrowed, as we were operating in good faith. Now we realize that we were wrong. Thank you so much for your time, and please call us if there is anything that you would like us to do. We have all of the paper work and receipts..

We had researched the company and saw that they were listed with the Better Business Bureau. Same number and everything. They have said that we will be getting our check. Three different times they said that everything was fine, and expect the money. Their number is no longer in service. I have a seperate number for a David Field, or a Jonathan Cross.407-307-0498. They never return the call, and if I catch them, they say they are busy, and can I call in twenty minutes. They will not answer after that. We are $3,000 dollars in the hole right now. Please help us.

Users Questions/CommentsI received a phone call from Gerald Sullivan with International Paradigm Marketing in April 2010. He says they can rent my unit (RCI points) for $2,500 for a convention coming to Orlando on May 16, 2010. I asked for a referral and talked with a guy in Colorado who says he did the rental 8 months ago and received a check just as they said they would do. Everything according to the guy in Colorado was legitimate. I did ask for and received a sample copy of the contract and it states they guarantee full refund if my unit is not rented or sold in 12 months. I decided to proceed and paid the marketing fee of $631.70 with the understanding this fee was refundable if my timeshare was not rented or sold in 12 months (I have this in writing).

Two months later I received a phone call from Richard Powers who said they have a buyer for my timeshare. The buyer would pay $14,999 for the timeshare and 22% ($3,299.00) deposit in an escrow account. As an owner I would be required to pay $1,860.00 for cost related to title search, ownership verification, the estoppel letter, and deed clearing package. I was very reluctant but finally decided to pay the $1,860 on my credit card on 6/25/10. I was told the process would take 30-45 days to complete and I would receive my money shortly thereafter. I did receive a "letter of intent" within 7 days which looked very authentic and genuine and stated everything in the contract. My suspicions arose when repeated phone calls to Richard Powers and their legal department went unanswered. They were either in a meeting, with a client, or out of the office but never returned messages. A service agent told me after 45 days that the package was ready and I should receive it within 2 days. I never received it and called back and was told they had to obtain additional information from the buyer. I was told I would receive the final package within 2 days. On Monday 8/16/10 (52 days from the 6/25/10 date I charged my credit card) there was no package, I knew it was a scam, and their phones went unanswered. I immediately disputed the charge with my credit card company who credited my account back the $1,860 and is investigating the matter. I am out the $631.70.

International Paradigm Marketing is a total fraud or scam and needs to be investigated and put out of business before any other people lose their money. A copy of the letter of intent is available if you need it in your investigation. They also have phone number 877-874-4613.

Called from # 407-656-1149 in spring of 2010. Company had called x2 to sell or rent out my time share in MT. If they did not sell it in 12 mths from initial upfront fee payment I would be totally refunded this fee. I paid them a $631.30 fee. In July 2010 I was called and told they had a buyer for my time share, these people had been approved and had put down their 22% non-refundable deposit. They did send me a letter of intent for this sale with the #'s broken down. My closing costs were a total of $2,394.00 which I did send them. This was approximately 2 wks ahgo. I was told it would take 2-3 weeks typically to close the sale and I would be sent my portion of final sale money. I have been trying to contact this company for 2 days and get a recording on their hours of operation but can not get through to anyone. I did leave 2 phone msgs with ext. I was able to get, with reps of their company but this was just done today and I have not heard anything back. I did research a a couple other companies and turned them down so either this company was so new the scams had not been reported yet or I just missed this one. Is there any recourse for people like me and will your office get back to me on this situation regardless of the outcome or response?

Well when they called me it was in June and said they had a renter and a buyer, but I would have to pay another $1000.00 up front before they could proceed with the transaction, that is when I requested that they need to return my initial payment of $399.00, the person said that he would refund my money and I have not heard from them, so I called again on 07/22/10 and 07/23/10. Since they lied or did not disclose the additional funds required if a rental transpired, I requested my money be refunded.

Users Questions/CommentsThe company is supposed to be renting timeshare weeks for us. On 6/28/10 I mailed them a cashier's check to cover closing costs on the sale of the weeks. According to FedEx the package was delivered to them on 7/1/2010. In the original agreement I was to receive all Closing Documents by US Postal Mail within 7 days. I have not received anything from them as of yet. I called and left messages a couple times a day from 7/12/10 to today 7/16/10. I have not been able to get anyone in the office to call me back. I was told several times including this morning that they are all in meetings every day until 1pm, but yet no one ever returns the call. I would like to either complete the sale or have my money refunded.

Users Questions/CommentsPLEASE KEEP THIS ANNONYMOUS. THESE PEOPLE ARE REAL SCUM BAGS AND I AM SCARED FOR MY SAFETY.I worked for this company for one month. I was under the impression that they did marketing and advertising for timshares. I thought they were doing earnest business. There contract states they have a 100% money back guarantee if they can't rent or sell your timeshare in 1 year they will give your money back. Come to find out that they were lying. They weren't doing anything of the sort. They are planning on shutting down before the year is over. They aren't even putting these people's listing on there website. They claim they use the $ for marketing and advertising and for legal documents. They are just taking innocent hard working people's money scamming them! The week that I left, they started calling clients, their own clients who have already paid them money telling them they had buyers on their timeshares and that they needed to over night them a certified cashier's check. It's all lies. I don't know how these people are still in business. I don't even know how you can sleep at night. I had to leave because I have a conscious and I can't lie to people and take their money. It's not right. Please do something. You cannot let them go on doing this to people.

Users Questions/CommentsWe entered into an agreement with this company to have them rent or sell our timeshare week(s), and paid $500 up front for the service. We were then contacted by an agent of theirs, Mr. Calvin Fisher, who stated that he had a buyer for our timeshare week at the Vistana Resort in Orlando, Florida -- for $30,000. In order to finalize the sale, Mr. Fisher informed us that we needed to pay an additional $1,372 (representing one half of the closing costs). We also spoke with a woman named Ashley at International Paradigm, who told us that we would receive the $30,000 within a couple of days. This did not happen. We are now out $1,872, and have received nothing in return. We have contacted International Paradigm directly, and spoken with a man(Jack Bruce) who purports to be the company's president. He stated that he in fact had employed Mr. Fisher, but knew of nobody by the name of Ashley. When we reported to Mr. Bruce what had happened with Mr. Fisher, he stated that he was upset as well, because this is the second instance he had heard of regarding Mr. Fisher pulling this or a similar scam. Mr. Bruce claimed that he was upset because his company's reputation is on the line. Among other things, he stated that he wanted to trace the payments we had made, and to do so he asked for certain numbers/codes associated with our debit card. This has made us suspicious of Mr. Bruce and Paradigm (in addition to the suspicions we already had about Mr. Fisher, who Mr. Bruce portrayed as a former/rogue employee).
