Goods can be exposed to a lot of stresses during storage and transport - environmental influences like rain, snow, spray and fluctuating temperatures, UV radiation, pests or contamination with foreign bodies.
Moisture, contaminants or insects can cause major dam-age to goods stored even inside buildings or in transport containers, which in turn reduces their value or renders theentire shipment unusable.

Protective measures are generally required to ensure that nodamage is sustained during transport and storage.

Puma-Folien® supplied by W.Bosch+Co offer a broad varietyof protection for customers. Puma-Folien® can be used in many different industries - metal industry and food manufac-turing, for military purposes and in the electronics industry.
Puma-Folien® are the optimum solution for long-term pack-aging, transport and export packaging (in particular for over-seas shipments) for machinery and spare parts, bulk materialand powders, as well as for multicomponent material made of metal, plastics and rubber. The period of protection can beextended in individual cases by the subsequent addition of desiccant.

Puma-Folien® developed by W.Bosch+Co. are available ina variety of thicknesses and compositions, e.g. laminatedwith LDPE film, HDPE film, scrim, as a transparent specialcompound with special sealable layer or with VCI agents.
The packaging type can be selected for the intended use - as flat film on reels of widths of up to 1,750 mm, in sheets or other formats, as sealed cut-outs up to 6,000 mm, folded on reels, as tubular or semi-tubular films, as flat pouches, as crate covers or crate inlays, as side fold bags or covers, in individual formats and, of course, printed or plain.
Easy to use on all equipment.
Most Puma-Folien® can be handled in the same way as commercially available PE film and are ideal for use in automatic packaging processes.
The film can also be heat-sealed manually or automa- tically.
