REGISTRATION

Registration is essential for all courses.

To register for a specific course, please phone 0800 WAIREAP or 06 377 1379, or call in to REAP House, 340 Queen St Masterton or email [email protected].

Payment of the course fee confirms your enrolment. Please note that we do not have EFTPOS facilities at REAP House, and payment by Internet Banking is preferred. These details will be provided when you register.

If the course is full we will put you on a waiting list.

You can also register your interest — we will contact you when the details are confirmed.

Women and Tools A 6 week course Come and learn how to use your tools, hand and power, in a supportive and friendly environment. Build your skills making a great saw horse and then plan your next project!

Date: Wednesdays, 11 Feb - 18 March Time: 6.30pm - 9pm Venue: Henley Mens Shed, 13 Colombo Rd, Masterton Tutor: Bevan Hussey Cost: $125 Bring your tools on the first night

Blokes and BBQ’s Come and learn some new skills; what you can cook on the Bbq to really impress you family and friends.

Date: 8 February Time: 9.30am - 1.30 pm Venue REAP House Tutor: Pierre Syben Cost: $70 Bring some BBQ tongs, an apron

Update your outdated Wardrobe An 8 week course to turn your favourite old wardrobe items into current wearable fashion, something you will love wearing, and even better, that you created yourself. Learn new sewing skills and tricks along the way You may even wish to enter Oversew, the Wairarapa wearable fashion show.

Future Focus on Life Have given yourself some new goals recently? Take this step to do something positive for yourself. This is a 6 week course for you to spend some time thinking about you, how you would like your life to move forward and how to set those new goals in motion with confidence. This is a series of four workshops Session 1. Getting under way - Basic information Session 2. Essential Skills Session 3. Keeping data safe and some applications Session 4. Being productive and being a problem solver

Apple Mac Computer Series For people who lack confidence and have recently switched to a Mac or supporting anyone wanting to gain new skills using their computer. Bring your own Mac or use one of our Mac laptops.

iPad Kickstarter Recently got an iPad? Want to use it confidently? iPads are very powerful and very useful tools. Come and see how to make yours work well for you. Bring your own iPad or talk to us about borrowing one.

Excel Spreadsheet - Basics Come and learn how to make Excel work for you.

Excel is a very powerful tool so learn how to make the most of using it confidently.Whether you currently use Excel for work, home or you are new to this, you will find Lisa’s course has something for you.

Date: Tuesdays, 10 March - 24 March Time: 6.30pm - 8.30pm Venue: Ko Te Aroha Children, 33 Johnston St, Masterton Tutor: Lisa Gray Cost: $80

Conversational Spanish - From the beginning Come and learn to speak Spanish in a friendly and supportive environment, with an experienced tutor, over 9 weeks. Whether it is to learn Spanish for future travel or to learn something new and keep your mind busy, have a go!

About our adult Q and ACE Courses Q courses are quality adult courses provided through Wairarapa REAP for those wanting to explore a variety of other learning interests.

Courses will be advertised in the Wairarapa News and on Noticeboards in public places, such as local libraries, schools, hospitals and clubs.

We also run a variety of ACE Courses aimed at extending the skills of our community through foundation learning. These courses are primarily targeted programmes for specific groups of learners, but we also run Te Reo Māori and NZ Sign Language courses.
