I am happy to note that once again our
Editorial Board is bringing out QIS RAYS
depicting the activities of yester academic
year. As IT sector is on a decline note, the
students are advised to concentrate more on
core disciplines apart from improving
required soft skills.
The quality of education imparted through
an educational institute is an important
indicator of its role in socio-economic
development of the country. In order to
continuously enhance and upgrade the
quality of education, QIS institutions work
on the principle of social transformation
through dynamic education.
The academic performance and campus
recruitment of the students are quite
satisfactory. I am proud to inform you that a
good number of students have been placed
in reputed MNCs. The institute is moving
ahead with innovative live projects which
are reputable for the institute. Research
culture is consistently increasing in the
campus.
The institution is facilitated with the best
capabilities to impart skills both theoretical
and practical for updating the technical
knowledge with the latest expertise in the
respective fields of Engineering and
Technology.
Social service and awareness are essential
for the youth. The College NSS Body is
very active and conducted numerous
activities such as Sanitation Awareness
Program for school students, Blood
Donation campaigns, and so on.
I feel happy to note that the department of
ECE conducted ICCSP-2012 “International
Conference on Communications and Signal
Processing”. To give thrust to research, QIS
institutions have exchanged MOU with
Globarena Technologies Pvt. Ltd.
Hyderabad on 26-12-2012. The Institute is
moving ahead with certain parameters to
attain quality. We hope the best to come in
future.

The Department of Electronics and

started QIS FEST-2012 in a spectacular way.
QIS Educational Institutional President,
sri.Nidamanuri Nageswara Rao inaugurated the
fest for CSE, IT, EEE, ECE, ME, MBA & MCA
related branches.
Most of the Prakassham District related
Engineering Colleges’ students as well as QIS
Engineering Colleges participated in this Mega
programme. In this fantastic QIS fest, the
competitions were conducted on the paper
presentation, poster prtesntation, technical quiz,.
Project expo etc.
