• The resources (tools) are essential part of QMS to maintain the quality.the quality.

• Quality and customer focus go hand inhand – you can’t have one without theother.

• In the other side, the analyst doesn’tunderstand what the customer really need.y

• It is suggested that there are four principal t t QMS f S/W d l taspects to a QMS for S/W development:

1. Development Procedures : This includes the use ofdesign and development methodologies and toolsdesign and development methodologies and tools,testing and associated staff training.

2. Quality Control : This includes many activities forthe monitoring of quality during development, e.g.Planning, progress meetings, change control etc.

3 Quality Improvement : This includes all activities3. Quality Improvement : This includes all activitiesaimed at establishing a human quality cultureamongst the staff (Quality Culture).

4. Quality Assurance : Where a quality system is inplace, QA becomes the monitoring of the systemitself to ensure that it is being carried out correctly.itself to ensure that it is being carried out correctly.

Quality Training Provide all levels of organization with appropriate knowledge with respect to qualityrespect to quality.

Quality Circles To provide a forum to discuss problemsproblems.
