How to UseThis Guide
The Quad Cities area consists of Davenport and Bettendorf, Iowa, and Moline, East Moline and Rock Island, Illinois. The Quad Cities are located at the confluence of the Rock and Mississippi rivers, about 140 miles west of Chicago, and come together to form the largest metropolitan area along the Mississippi River between Minneapolis–Saint Paul and the St. Louis metropolitan area. Interstate 80 also crosses the Mississippi River here. The Quad Cities area is distinctive because the Mississippi River flows from east to west as it passes through the heart of the area. The Quad Cities Metropolitan Area is also considered part of the Great Lakes Megalopolis. Davenport, Iowa’s is the third largest city in the statem and is a vibrant community with rich history closely related to one of the world’s mightiest rivers, the beautiful Mississippi. Davenport is the regional beacon and hub of the metropolitan Quad-Cities, with a population of about 400,000. It is at the crossroads of America. and a place proud of its unique heritage. The City of Bettendorf, Iowa is located on the eastern border of Iowa. The area was actually named Lillienthal until 1903, when the city changed its name to Bettendorf, after the Bettendorf Company. Bettendorf is one of the fastest growing communities in Iowa and has become more familty oriented over the years. The City of Moline is nestled between the banks of the Mississippi and Rock River in Rock Island County, Illinois, and is home to almost 44,000 people. Located at the historic Riverfront is the Downtown Moline Centre. It has become a hot spot for residential living, fine dining and nightlife. The City of East Moline, Illinois is home to over 20,000 people and is also located along the Mississippi River, in the southeast quadrant of the Quad Cities. East Moline grew slowly in its initial years and it was only in 1900, when Deere & Company built a large factory called Union Malleable Iron Company, that the area started to flourish and took off from there. The factory employed hundreds of people and the area prospered economically and the population grew. It was officially incorporated as a village in 1903. East Moline is know for its nature and popular recreation destina-tions. The city has more over a dozen parks for anyone to visit. The City of Rock Island, Illinois, is one of the core cities which make up the greater Quad Cities and is located in the southwest part of the area. It is also home to approximately 40,000 people. Rock Island offers plenty of options to explore and play. The District, Rock Island’s downtown area, features a variety of art galleries and theatres, coffee shops, restaurants and more. You’ll also find plenty of golf courses, parks, a casino, botanical center, marina, historic tours, bike paths, and festivals to entertain everyone. Each of the cities has a lot to offer the area and brings enjoyment to residents and vistors every day. The Quad Cities is a great place for anyone looking to relocate and raise a family to adventureres looking to learn something new and explore a variety of attractions.

Having good health overall is a major key to a long and healthy life. Finding ways to take care of your health can aid in recovery and help you feel better daily. Get routine check-ups and visit your doctor when you're not feeling well. Sometimes, it is hard to tell whether not feeling well is due to a side-effect of medicine, a symptom of a health disorder or any other different health problem. Talk to your doctor or other health care specialist for any other questions or information.
Excellent health care…Close to home.
