I made sure to ask as wide a range of ages as possible to ensure minimum age bias and to uncover if different age ranges have different knowledge on film.

Almost every participant had the nationality of British, so it is highly likely their answers are going to be biased towards British culture.

Of the people interviewed, only a few had background knowledge of this subject. It is clear that people generally know what short films are classed as but they may not entirely understand their purposes and that they are not as exclusive as they tend to be portrayed.

The method in which my interviewees have viewed or seen any short film was mainly in the cinema. This coincides with them recognising the shorts often displayed before feature films in the cinema (Pixar Shorts)
