Cutting Directions
From the background fabric, cut:• (14) 4-1/2" x width of fabric (WOF) strips; from strips, cut (168) pairs of side triangles• (20) 4-1/2" x 8-1/2" rectangles• (74) 4-1/2" squares• (6) 2-1/2" x 4-1/2" rectangles
From Gem Stones Cherry Bomb (Print #1), cut: • (3) 4-1/2" x width of fabric (WOF) strips; from strips, cut (43) center triangles
From Gem Stones Lagoon Blue (Print #8), cut: • (2) 4-1/2" x width of fabric (WOF) strips; from strips, cut (25) center triangles
From EACH of the assorted Gem Stones Prints, cut: • (1) 4-1/2" x width of fabric (WOF) strip; from each strip, cut (7) center triangles. Cut (3) additional center triangles from the Sonic Green print #27 for a total of 10 center triangles. You will have 1 extra Rainbow Bright print.
From the binding fabric, cut:• (8) 2-1/2" x width of fabric (WOF) strips
Block Construction
1 Following the instructions found in Planted Seed Designs’ Triangle-in-a-Square Tool, make 168 Triangle-in-a-Square (TIAS) units using one center triangle and one pair of side triangles for each unit.
