In 2005 Royal Petro Energy in AL Ghail Industrial Area (RAKIA Free zone Authority) Ras Al Khaimah first started its own petroleum plant having capacity of producing 72,000 MT of base oil per annum and with a storage of 15000 cbm to handle different feedstock and finished product. The 20,000 square meter factory is manned by well-qualified technicians and skilled staffs to meet desired production levels.
To spearhead its existing growth, the company has launched a New Project for Storage Terminal facility at Hamriyah Free Zone with a capacity of 87,745.96 cu m. and another Petrochemical plant at Hamriyah Free zone.The products of the refinery are Naptha, Gas Oil, Heavy base oil, Light base oil, DEG, MEG, TEG, Petra.
Royal Petro group’s refinery can handle a wide spectrum of feedstock and finished products, which are sold locally as well as in other markets in the Middle East, South Asia and South-East Asia, India, Asia, China.

HAMRIYAH TERMINALThe company’s Port Storage Terminal in Hamriyah acts as a pillar of strength in its manufacturing process, by providing storage ofvessel loads of feedstock and paving way for new dimensions like blending products to create customer-specific grades. It alsogoes a long way in supporting trading and offering storage to its customers ans potential customers as a business proposition.The facility has a total of 21 tanks of capacities ranging from 2500 cbm to 7500 cbm adding to a total of 90,000 cbm, with separatepipelines to the berth for white and black products. Safety practices are an integral part of the way the operations are run at thisfacility. It is equipped with a weigh bridge for weighment of road tankers for inward and outward movement of goods bysurface transport. The facility also has the capability to handle high pour point products such as Bitumen and Rubber process Oilwhich require heating and insulated storage and piping.
DESIGN FEATURES• Cargoes: We have facility for Class I, Class II and Class III petroleum products.• 3 pipelines: 2- MS 12 Inches & 1 S.S 10 Inches• 2-MS pipeline one each for Clean Fuel and Dirty Fuel• 1-SS pipeline for petrochemicals.• 14 meter draft, 7 meter draft & 4.5 meter draft• 4.5 meter draft has MS insulated pipeline to pump bituminous product.

At Bitumen division, Royal Petro Group focuses on manufacturing, storing, and the international supply of Bitumen and Bituminous products from its terminal at Hamriyah Free Zone in Sharjah, UAE. It has two 3000 MT bulk storage tanks for storing and distributing bitumen. The tankage is very near to the jetty along the main harbour. All penetration grade bitumen can be supplied in bulk vessel, road tankers, and in new or reconditioned drums. Royal Petro Group also supplies viscosity grade bitumen. A wide variety of bitumen road binders , tack coats, primer and emulsions for the road construction industry are produced by the company to meet global standards. The group is backed by a team of professionals, implementing extensive quality control systems.

Shipping refers to Royal Petro Group’s in-house fleet of vessels to transport the products it actively trades in. It currently trades dirty products including fuel oil, bitumen and clean products like base oil, gas oil and naphtha. With the growth in the trading volumes, Royal Petro Group has steadily ventured into the world of ship owning.
The general idea is to enable Royal Petro Group to have a much better control over the entire supply chain and thats where the genesis of its Shipping Department lies. Owning its own ships ensures that its trading activities are not dependant on chartered-in tonnage and they can offer more reliable services.
Currently Royal Petro Group has a fleet of multiple trailer transporting tankers with a capacity of 55 MT each.
