I am looking forward to this upcoming year and the planning of many chapter meetings. We will learn more about EatFitGo and the healthy foods that they provide. I think it is perfect timing to start thinking about eating healthy in the new year! As a reminder, if you are interested in joining a committee, please feel free to reach out to the board member. Committees are fun to be a part of and a great way to learn more about EWI and what we are all about. Don’t be shy…. Join a committee! Thank you to the entire chapter for helping with adopting the two families for Christmas. When I dropped off the presents, the look on the receptionist face was priceless for the amount of gifts we provided. Maybe we can make this an annual event?!?

Committee Signups Calling all Chapter Member Representatives ready to make an impact! It is once again time to volunteer for a Chapter Committee. Serving on one or more committees is a rewarding experience for many reasons; it is the first step to learning more about the behind the scenes work necessary to make the Chapter the best it can be, it is a great way to learn about the different Board Positions available within our Chapter, and it is a wonderful way to get to know your fellow Chapter Member Representatives and create a sense of unity. Below are the Committees and their respective Chairs - be proactive and reach out to those who will allow you to Flourish, Grow and Thrive with EWI!

THRIVE @ FIVE 2018 Schedule
Introducing our EWI Thrive @ Five program! Sometimes there isn’t enough time to chat at our monthly meetings. Thrive @ Five is casual conversations and connections for our Chapter members to meet and get to know each other a little better. We will meet quarterly for just this purpose. We hope you are able to join us starting at 5:00 pm on the dates listed below.
Come join the fun!
Thursday, April 12 – Johnny’s Italian Steakhouse, Village Pointe
Thursday, July 12 – Roja’s Mexican Grill, Old Market
Thursday, October 11 – Nebraska Brewing Co, Shadow Lake Towne Center
We had our first Thrive at Five and it was a great little gathering. It was nice to sit and chat with fellow EWI ladies, to get to catch up and learn more about them. I hope that others can join in the fun for the next one. Kristin will be sending out a calendar invite on the next one in the coming weeks. I look forward to seeing you all tonight! Take care!
