ACCOMMODATION

All hotels featured in our packages are based on a Standard (3 star) level of accommodation. Rooms are either Twin/Double/Single with private ensuite facilities. You can upgrade to a Deluxe (4 Star) level of accommodation by adding on the applicable charge, as shown. If the hotel stated is not available, then another hotel of similar standard will be provided.

MEALS / TRANSFERS

Unless specified, meals are not included in the package price. This gives you the flexibility to dine in local restaurants that suit your taste and budget. Many packages offer an option to include breakfast daily if you wish, at an additional cost.

Transfers are generally not included, because often when there are 2 or more travellers it may be more cost effective to catch a taxi, however if you would like the transfers to be included we can offer an option to include transfers on most packages.

Pensioner prices apply to Australian Pensioner Card Holders and Commonwealth Senior Health Card Holders. Senior prices apply to State Senior Card Holders. Please note there are no Pensioner/Senior discounts for Platinum Service.

SUN Darwin This morning is at your leisure, before joining an afternoon City Sights Tour of Darwin. Highlights will include the Chinese Temple, Botanical Gardens, East Point Military Precinct, the Stokes Hill Wharf area and the Mooring Basin.

MON Darwin (L) Today, choose one of the following tours:

Option 1: Kakadu National Park Tour. Highlights will include the World Heritage Listed Kakadu National Park, a visit to the Warradjan Cultural Centre, a guided cruise on Yellow Water billabong to see crocodiles and other native wildlife and view the Aboriginal rock art at Nourlangie Rock.

Option 2: Litchfield National Park Tour. Please read these Booking Conditions carefully as they incorporate the basis upon which bookings are accepted by the Australian Holiday Centre. We act as an agent in promoting and selling holiday packages but we are not a transport, tour, event or accommodation provider. It is therefore important for you to obtain and read the service provider’s terms and conditions applicable to the products in your package, and make sure you are aware of any exclusions or limitations of liability imposed by the service provider, some of which limit or exclude liability in respect of death, personal injury, delay and loss or damage to baggage.

Deposit: A deposit of $500 (3 Cities and Rail Escapes), $1500 (Ultimate, Around Australia and Kimberley and Darwin Delight), $1000 (Other itineraries) per person is required immediately upon booking. This can be paid by Cash, Cheque, Direct Deposit or Credit Card. A surcharge of 2% is charged for all payments by Visa or Mastercard. We do not accept American Express or Diners Club.

Final Payment: Final payment is required at least 60 days prior to departure, or as specified for special deals, sale fares etc. Full payment can be made by Cash, Cheque or Direct Deposit. Your confirmation letter will clearly indicate the due date for final payment. If for any reason your balance is not received by us, by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel your booking and apply the appropriate cancellation charges. Bookings made within 60 days of departure date will only be accepted if full payment is received at the time of reservation. Documents will be released 2 weeks prior to travel.

Amendments: Alterations to your booking incur a fee of $50 per person plus any additional charges imposed by the relevant Service Provider.

Cancellations: If you cancel or terminate your holiday the following cancellation fees will apply:

Prior to final payment: No refund of deposit paid

After final payment: No refund of deposit paid plus all additional fees imposed by the Service Providers for cancelled accommodation, touring, air and rail travel (which may be up to 100% of monies paid). An example of additional Service Provider fees is – Great Southern Railway: More than 60 days prior to departure = 10%, Between 7-60 days prior to departure = 50%, Less than 7 days prior to departure and after departure = No refund. Refunds may take up to two months to be received.

Availability: All holidays are subject to availability and at certain times of the year, surcharges may apply that are outside our control. The cost of airfares fluctuate greatly, therefore we will purchase your airfares when your deposit is received. Should the budgeted airfare not be available at that time then a surcharge may also be applicable. Your consultant will advise of any surcharges at the time of booking.

Travel Insurance: It is recommended that at the time of booking, you consider purchasing a travel insurance policy of your choice to cover loss, damage, illness, injury or other unexpected circumstances.

Limit of Liability: We always do our best to make sure your arrangements are satisfactory, however, most of the goods and services offered in the featured packages are supplied by third parties. We act only as an agent for those suppliers. To the extent permitted by law, the Australian Holiday Centre excludes all liability for any loss or damage whatsoever (including but not limited to physical and psychological injury, and loss or

damage to property of whatever nature) that may arise in any way in connection with the offer of goods or services by us or any third parties, or in connection with the supply of such goods or services. If the Trade Practices Act 1974 (Cth) or any similar law implies a condition or warranty that cannot be excluded, the liability of Australian Holiday Centre for a breach of the condition or warranty will be limited as determined by us in its absolute discretion to:

(a) In the case of goods any one or more of the following: • the replacement of the goods or the supply of equivalent goods; or • the payment of the cost of replacing the goods or of acquiring equivalent goods; and

(b) In the case of services: • the supplying of the services again; or • The payment of the cost of having the services supplied again.

Events Beyond Our Control: We do not accept any liability whatsoever for any injury, damage, loss, delay, additional expenses or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by any events which are beyond its control including, but not limited to, war, civil disturbance, fire, floods, acts of God, acts of Government or any other authorities, accident to or failure of machinery or equipment or industrial action.

About Us: The Australian Holiday Centres are owned by the SeaLink Travel Group Pty Ltd. The Travel Centres have been in operation for over 16 years and are full members of the Travel Compensation Fund, members of AFTA and associate members of the Helloworld Group.
