EnviroServ offers appropriate cost-effective solutions to the complex hazardous and non hazardous waste and chemical pollution problems, providing peace of mind with regard to the legal compliance, safe handling, trans-portation and management thereof. For over 35 years, EnviroServ has successfully operated within all industries, both in South Africa and beyond, to become a trusted and preferred waste management supplier.
We remain pioneers today because the drive to look for better ways of doing things is deeply embedded in our culture. The company was established by forward think-ers who had a social conscience - and those are the kinds of people we still employ. So, whatever industry our people work in, they push for continuous improvement.
In addition, through being the first – and for long periods – the only company to tackle some of the most complex waste management issues in South Africa, EnviroServ has come to understand that sustainable waste manage-ment is not a finite concept.
It evolves with society’s needs, habits, and awareness of health and environmental prosperity.
As a result, we keep evolving. EnviroServ regards BBBEE as a strategic opportunity to open up opportunities for its historically disadvantaged stakeholders. The company believes that the new codes will have significant impact on EWM, customers and suppliers’ businesses.
EnviroServ constantly works on improving its BBBEE level. Management continues to drive change with determination and passion. As a result, the company has partnered with the BEESA Group to accelerate progress in this critical area.
Currently, we are busy with interventions aligned with reviewing the new BBBEE codes. Our current focus is on improving our scores on management control, skills development and preferential procurement.
