the NRS-3000 Series High Performance Dispersive Raman Spectrometers

I n t r o d u c i n g . . .

The NRS-3000 Series of bench top, singlydispersive micro-Raman spectrometers are based on JASCO’s proven technology emphasizingsensitivity, reliability, and ease of operation from a PC-controlled optical system.

The innovative instrument design ensures freedom from daily adjustments and alignment. A specially designed honeycomb optical base plate is the foundation for the entire instrument guaranteeing alignment and stability. The laser(s),enclosed microscope, software-switched optics anda unique aberration-corrected polychromator withCCD detector provide an integrated package thatis compact enough to fit on a laboratory bench.

With superb stability and effortless software controlled optics, the NRS-3000 Series Raman systems offerperformance second to none, andwith no time-consuming realignment.Simply insert the sample, focus, and collect the spectrum. The integrated, automated x-y-z mapping stage with auto-focusing option allows full PC control. Complete operator safety is maintained by the fully enclosed automated sample chamber door which provides a 120 degree opening to allow full microscope access.

The New NRS-3000 Series Raman SpectrometersEnhanced Sensitivity, Reliability, and Ease of Operation

All NRS-3000 Series Raman instruments include a color CCD sample viewing system with imagecapture capability. For additional flexibility, atrinocular microscope attachment can be added for direct binocular viewing. Utilizing the samebasic optical system, we’ve designed a family ofmicro-Raman spectrometers that offer a range ofcapabilities from simple, single laser, single gratinginstruments to advanced research grade systemswith low wave number measurement, wavelengthextension from the deep UV to NIR, and the ability to use or add up to six lasers.

The JASCO NRS-3000 family offers a choice of systems that can exactly meet your needs, as well as your budget, and gives you the ability toupgrade for future requirements. These new spectrometers offer capabilities previously limitedto complex “triply dispersive” Raman instruments.

The NRS-3000 Series Raman Spectrometer Advanced Features and Options

RMP-300 Series

JASCO has developed the new RMP-300 Series portable Raman spectrometer system, incorporating a fiber optic probe with a small X-Y-Z stage, compact laser, a high-throughput spectrograph and Peltier-cooled CCD detector. No special utilities such as coolants are required allowing the system to be used almost anywhere. The flexibility of optical fiber coupling enables remote measurements by locating the probe right at the sample. The fiber optic probe features an integrated CCD video camera for sample positioning and capturing of digital sample images. All operations are performed by the dedicated software package based on JASCO Spectra Manager IITM.

The RMP-300 Series consists of six models, the RMP-310, 315, 320, 325, 330, and 335, ranging from small, portable units suitable for in-situ measurements to research-grade systems to provide capabilities for a wide range of application requirements.

The RMP-300 system is controlled using Spectra Manager IITM, JASCO's powerful Windows based cross-platform spectroscopy software package. The system is capable of both laboratory work and on-site measurements in the fields of process control, QC, forensics, art conservation and mineralogy.

Higher spatial resolution and better S/N ratio

Better portability and smaller space requirements

No special utilities required

Non-destructive remote measurements using a fiber optic probe
