Why I have not chosen these locations

As each location tells its own unique story, they are all lacking a small thing to be perfect for my music video. When filming in Easton it helps to show my artists bottom side in life, growing up in a rural area much like American ghettos. As this location helps build the emotional feeling towards the rapper it also lacks creativity and life, on this road apart from the cheap style houses the idea for filming is distracted by havoc and danger from locals as it is named the worst area in Brittan. I first chose to have my artist use the bus to get around as a way of travel, that’s when I came across the wrecked bus stop in kingswood, the broken emptiness of the bus stop helps build sympathy for the artist as it looks ruff. I soon chose not to go with this idea as the main concepts of rap music is cars and money so I had the idea of showing not much money at the start to making a lot so I thought ill put this idea into concept with the cars also with showing a broken busted car then a nice one. The idea for almondsbury and the Grosvenor house came to me to help show my artist making it, the big houses in almondsbury would suit the change in my rappers life but I was soon to realize there was no parking space on the narrow road accept from residential and unless I was to get permission I wasn’t able to film peoples houses. I came across the Grosvenor house when collecting a award, it was the most elegant hotel I have been to with a class of its own, butlers opening doors for you etc., this would have been perfect to show my artists classiness but it is to far to commute.
