Receipt PrinterWindows Anniversary update is known to cause issues with a number of system configurations. One of themhappens to be the star printer. In order to fix this, please follow the steps listed below.• Go to the windows search bar and type “printers” it will then pull up a screen to Devices and Printers.

•• Your printer will be toward the bottom of the page. It may be back to its default name ex. TSP100, TSP143. Findyour printer and right click on it.

• After right clicking go down to “printer properties” on the right click popup.

• On the top of the window click on TSP configuration and click “Launch Configuration Application”. Please bepatient it may take a minute or two for the configure screen to pop up.

• On the popup called select an emulation choose “ESC/POS Mode” and click ok.

• When the configure screen pops up in the general info tab go down to the bottom of the screen under DefaultPrint Settings. Click on the drop down menu called “Characters/Line(fontA)” and select “48char”.

• Next, go along the left-hand side of the pop-up and click “Print Job Routing”. After that in the new screen, checkthe box called “Enable ESC/POS Routing”.

• Make sure to “Apply Changes” after each applicable step.If these steps don’t completely fix the issue, then continue on down the page.

•• Open RB control systems, select your location and continue into the program.•• Go to tools at the top of the page and select company setup.

• In company setup go into the tab on the top of the screen called “Receipt Printers/Pole Display”• On the left-hand side in “Receipt Printer Settings” right below the select a register click down box there will be

another labeled “Receipt Printer Name”.• Click on this and select the printer name in the list that matches the printer name in “Devices and Printers”.

• If the printer names don’t match up, you can follow the previous steps up above to “printer properties” and thenchange the name to match here.
