Cleansing program — Level
BEFORE A JUICE CLEANSE—
Fit is not a destination, it is a way.
• Fruit: any and all fresh fruit
• Vegetables: any and all fresh
vegetables
• Fish: fresh, canned in water or
olive oil
• Lean red meat, chicken (without
the skin). Limit to two serves per
week.
• Legumes: dried or canned, such as
kidney beans, chickpeas, lentils
• Eggs: preferably organic
• Olive oil (preferably extra virgin),
Coconut oil (unprocessed)
• Nuts: raw unsalted almonds,
walnuts, macadamias and cashews
• Seeds: raw unsalted sesame,
pumpkin and sunflower seeds
• Green tea, white tea, weak black
tea (decaffeinated)
• Water: from one to three litres of
water per day
• Alcohol
• Cigarettes
• Milk products (except cup
unsweetened yoghurt with
acidophilus each day)
• Sugar, honey, maple syrup, artificial
sweeteners
• Coffee
• Grains: wheat (bread, biscuits, cakes,
pasta), rye, barley, oats, spelt and rice
• Dried fruit
1. Check your calendar and save a date from events that may ruin your detox plan.
2. One to seven days prior to the start date, begin by drinking lots of water and incorporate
with fruits and veggies into your daily meal.
3. Eliminating processed foods and consuming good hydration food are the best way to
prepare for a juice cleanse.

Cleansing program — During a juice cleanse
1. Morning lemon juice: First thing first, this step aims to kick start the digestion and
cleanse the system. Squeeze half of lemon juice or you can pour JUS Shot 01 in a cup
of warm water.
2. Stay on schedule with your juices: Aim to drink 2 bottles every 2 to 2.5hrs or 1 every
hour, 12 mini juice bottles may seem a lot to you however if you pace out your juices
over 12hrs, finishing your last juice 2 hours before your fall asleep, your body will thank
you. Skipping juice will be likely leave you hungry and may result in your blood sugar
crashing. Even if you are not hungry, when it’s time for your next consecutive juice,
just drink up. Consistency is the key.
3. Drinking: Besides three litres of fresh vegetable juices, you must drink at least 2 litres
of water (combine with herbal tea). This will help move the lymph and support kidney
detoxification.
4. Chew: Chew your juices, hah? It sounds weird but try to chew your juices before
swallow. There are enzymes in your saliva, Chewing your juice allows the body to
figure out how many and what composition of enzymes it needs for digestion.
Chewing also matches the temperature of what you are consuming to the temperature
inside of your body, so that nutrients are best assimilated and prepared for use.
5. Exercise: don’t cut your exercise time, we need you sweat but not in a hardcore way. It
may be a short walk, some light yoga poses, you know what we mean, right? Sweating
help your body to eliminate toxins and make your skin glow.
6. Raw foods: Not familiar with this “crucial” program, don’t quit. Just combine some raw
foods such as green salads with no creamy dressings, avocado, piece of fruit or some
unsalted nuts… even a light veggies soup.
7. Detox the mind: This is a good time to clear the clutter from the mind too. If possible,
try mediation for 15 minutes per day. If you don’t know how to meditate, try belly
breathing. Start by placing hands palm down on your lower belly. Breathe in through
your nose, counting slowly to 3 or 4 counts. Feel your tummy rise with the breath.
Breathe out just as slowly, allowing the belly to drop. Do this for 15 minutes daily.
8. Body brushing: This will support circulation and increase skin detoxification. Using a
loofah or natural fiber body brush, brush the skin with firm circular strokes before you
step into the shower. Start from the feet and hands, moving up the legs and towards
the arms, avoiding the delicate area of throat and face, and any rash or sore spots.
Then jump in the shower. Finish your shower with a one-minute burst cold water which
brings the blood circulation to the skin.
DURING A JUICE CLEANSE—
Some people may experience a “cleansing” reaction such as headache, loose bowel movements. This is due to the sudden withdrawal of certain foods, in addition to
stimulation of detoxifying organs. These symptoms should subside in 24 to 48 hours.
Follow these tips for a more effective juice cleanse:

Congratulation to you! You have accomplished your goal. Each day of your
cleanse, you fed your body 10-12kg veggies and fruits, just keep in mind that
you will be back into eating solid foods.
Please be mindful that your digestive system has been in a state of complete
rest. Your first days post-cleanse should include lots of veggies and fruits. The
items to absolutely avoid the first few days after your cleanse include: red
meat, dairy, alcohol, processed or fried foods. You may get back to normal
eating by a light bone veggie soup and slowly easing your way back into
eating solid foods again.
After a few days juice cleanse, in the days following a cleanse, you have a
unique opportunity to identify potential food sensitivities. If you suspect
that you may have a sensitivity to wheat, dairy, nuts, soy or anything else,
systematically add these foods back into your diet one at a time. By only
adding one of these items back in your diet at a time, you will be able to
identify if any of these foods are a trigger for you.
Note Don’t do cleanse if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, elderly, have
high blood pressure, are underweight or against your health practitioner’s
recommendation.
