When the quest for Africa’s Independence raged in the 1960’s, Sarova Panafric was the center of liberalism and hushed political meetings hosting many of Africa’s nationalists
and future African statesmen. Named in honor of the Pan African movement, Sarova Panafric was inaugurated by the first president of Kenya H.E. Mzee Jomo Kenyatta on the 5th January 1965 and truly represents Neo Africa.

One of East Africa’s most exotic and best-known resorts, Sarova Whitesands Beach Resort is located in a dreamlike setting, on Bamburi Beach in the North coast of

Situated at the heart of the Rift Valley, the Lake Nakuru national park is home to one of the most amazing ornithological spectacles in the world -
the flight of the flamingos! Aside from the flamingoes, the park has over 450 species of birds – a heaven for avid bird watchers. The park is also sanctuary to the great-endangered Black Rhino and abounds with other game such as buffalos, tree climbing lions and the elusive Leopard.
Sarova Lion Hill Game Lodgeis one of only two lodges situated within the park. Each of the recently refurbished chalets are equipped with private en-suite facilities and have an astounding view of the pink rimmed lake, or enjoy your staff in privacy of our lake suites.

Deep in Kenya’s arid North lands is “Born Free” country. Joy Adamson spent her final years here reintegrating a lion into the wild. More recently, Shaba was the location for the popular TV show Survivor Africa and numerous world acclaimed films such as To Walk with Lions, Born Free, Out of Africa, and The Great Crocodile Trial. In the environs of the Shaba Game reserve, lies the secluded oasis of Sarova Shaba Game Lodge.
Overlooking the fast-flowing Uaso Nyiro River, Chalet style rooms are perfectly situated for guests to watch the, rare grevy zebras, elephants and reticulated giraffes that brave the jaws of the resident crocodiles to come and quench their thirst. The Bull dates back to 1688, whilst several improvements have been made to the interior over the years, adding modern facilities expected by today’s traveller, the décor is sympathetic to the original building. The Bull has come a long way from its roots as a coaching inn, but still remains true to the traditional values of a warm welcome.
