1. In keeping with the thrust of the Department of Education to continuously improve

the quality of Basic Education specifically to raise participation, completion and

achievement and implement an efficient and effective quality assurance mechanism

as mandated by RA 10533 or the "Enhanced Basic Education Curriculum", this Office

shall conduct the City Schools Division Monitoring and Evaluation of Curriculum

Implementation and School Operations for School year 2017-2018.

2. This activity shall focus on class supervision and monitoring of school heads for

teachers on the operationalization of the curriculum, school management

operations and implementation of programs and projects and activities along targets

and key result areas.

Moreover, this aims to gather data, relevant information, and feedback on the

implementation of the K to 12 Curriculum specifically in the following areas:

a. effective planning of instructional goals, carried out according to the guidelines

stipulated in DepEd Order no. 42 s.2016 with strong emphasis on the features of

the K to 12 Curriculum: Spiral progression/ Constructivism/ Differentiated

instruction, and Contextualization;

b. quality delivery and execution of prepared lesson plans through varieties of

instructional models, strategies, and methods;

c. utilization of multitude of references and other learning resources particularly

the Teachers' Guide, Learners' Manual, textbooks, and additional materials from

the LRMDS portal;
