What is ‘The Sheffield Professional’?• A positive way of describing the experience of working in a professional services role at the University

• A set of principles which describe the agreed ways in which we behave and can expect our leaders, managers and colleagues to behave

• A work in progress!

Where did it start?• A commitment by the Registrar & Secretary to

value the talent of our professional staff and ensure that everyone:

• feels that their contribution matters

• can play a part in shaping the change

• creates award winning performance

• understands what success looks like today and tomorrow

• is able to make their voice heard.

• Project managed by the Talent Management Steering Group supported by HR
